We celebrated an anniversary dinner here with a nice Tuscan atmosphere. Service is well trained. Cocktails are well prepared. Although they were out of the selected Chardonnay, they offered a substitute wine. We ordered pan seared scallops and a filet. The grilled Brussel sprouts were...More

Thanks to our server, Javi as well as the manager, hostess, and other staff. Everyone that we encountered was welcoming and accommodating!!! And the food was absolutely delicious! The "churro" waffles, omelets, and prone rib are to die for! We highly recommend this place for...More

The menu is very well rounded nothing I had was subpar. My drinks were well crafted didn't taste watered down at all or like low end liquor. But the best part was the Free Wine and Cheese tasting called Taste of Texas. The individual presenting...More

Sustenio Restuarant was our go to breakfast place while in San Antonio. The Sunday Buffet was outstanding. Wish it were larger so they could have more dishes to try.

We were lucky enough to be at Sustenio during happy hour. The drinks were masterfully made by our bartender and the bar menu contained wonderful choices. We very much enjoyed the rapport of the staff and our delicious food.

We decided to eat with family for a total of 7 at Sustenio. It is not appropriate to compare it to places like Ruths' or Perry's, which we like, but, the price level is similar. It is not a steak house, and has a variety...More

I had another great experience here. All of the staff (Eddie, Shelby, Lexi, Dakota, and Natalie) are super friendly and help to create a very welcoming and fun environment for the customers. They make Sustenio my favorite restaurant in the city.

Happy hour has some nice treats. Dinner will be on the pricy but affordable range. Other restaurants within walking distance include Piatti and Ruth Chris steak House.

Sustenio is a hotel restaurant - you can dress clothes (suits for men or dresses for ladies) or you can be casual. I've only been there once, but I don't imagine anyone would be wearing shorts in there, too nice of a place... More

Description
Come home to Sustenio restaurant & bar and experience the local food you crave from Texas' first James Beard Award winner and the leading authority on Modern Texas Cuisine, celebrity Chef Stephan Pyles. Sourced from local Hill Country farmers and purveyors, the "wood-fired meets cast iron" menu includes everything from small plates at the bar to a contemporary take on comforting dishes, such as Honey-Fried Chicken and Hickory-Grilled Cowboy Ribeye. Pyles has added his familiar favorite signature Texas dishes and cocktails for San Antonio and the Hill Country to the menu. Welcome home to the relaxed bar, dining room and lounge at Sustenio overlooking the Texas Hill Country at the Eilan Hotel & Spa.
