This was an unexpected treat after a day of travel challenges. We had to call to push back our reservations since our flight was delayed. When we arrived at the restaurant they were so welcoming and said, “You made it!” A little thing but very...More

Came back to Biga after visiting here a few years ago. Definitely coming back! Service was excellent. I had the venison and quail- locally sourced. Price was proportional to quality and uniqueness of the dish. Flavors were great. Ambiance was classic San Antonio Riverwalk.More

I appreciate any establishment that attempts to do "new American," but unfortunately this place doesn't make the bill. First off, waiter was pissed that we didn't order cocktails (we don't drink) and then was really nasty when I requested bread. Food was hotel quality at...More

It was okay. I know it has a Zagat rating so the thought was it would be heads above the rest. Well, the lamb was wonderful but the vegi sides were just ok. The atmosphere was also just okay for the area and rating.

Biga on the Banks is a fabulous choice for an exceptional dining experience, especially if you sit outside. A glimpse of the Riverwalk below and the Skyline makes for a truly enjoyable evening. The service and food are outstanding and have been for decades.
