Ate here last week while in San Antonio. Restaurant being renovated but had truck across the street. Burgers were good. Would definitely try again when restaurant reopens.

I’ve always enjoyed coming here when I attended college, and make a point to stop by whenever I am visiting San Antonio. Hopefully they will reopen soon. The tostada burger is a must try.

I tried a handful of burger restaurants in San Antonio, and my friends and I agreed that this was the best one. I tried both the Tostada Burger and the Cheddar Cheezy. I think their aged cheddar cheese is excellent and the portion of cheese...More

This place was super busy and the line was long. We had heard so much about it that we definitely wanted to try it. Fact is, it's very average. Burgers are huge but they're very greasy and about half way through, you've sort of had...More

I tried the tostada burger on the advice of friends. The cheese overwhelmed, melted and "ran over" the burger completely. My burger and every burger eaten by my 3 friends were greasy, "slippery" and could not be consumed by picking up the burger. Knives and...More

We love Chris Madrid's and you will too. You order your food at the counter and grab a beeper and a seat while it is quickly made. Knowing it takes longer to prepare chicken, so typically during rush periods, a staffer will walk the line...More

Not like I remembered. This place is legendary in San Antonio, so maybe I just caught them on a bad night. I had 4 out of town friends and raved about the burgers as being the best in town. It was embarrassing. I tried the...More

The answer I would give is to just try and be off peak times. Meaning for lunch you better be there early - before 11:20 and for dinner before 6:30. If you get there at 1pm for lunch or after 7:30 for dinner you should be... More

I don't think they do. I don't recall that being offered on their menu. But the burgers are so good what about using the lettuce as a wrap?
