This historic neighborhood is beautiful & well maintained. The Guenther House is is historic & a beautiful location. The food is delicious, a little pricey, but none the less, delicious. Worth the trip to eat here.

I had breakfast here on my way to visiting the missions. The place itself is really beautiful - I sat in the garden and even though it was a bit windy, the view is worth it. Their coffee is delicious and the waffle I had was fresh, served with real maple syrup. It is a bit pricey, but overall a... More

Get the breakfast tacos! You will not be disappointed. And the house coffee is amazing, too! I had to buy a bag of the ground house coffee to bring home with me. Sitting outside eating delicious food and taking in gorgeous, historic scenery made for the perfect brunch!

The food was fantastic especially the homemade biscuits with homemade preserves! The beauty of the house was over shadowed by the delicious food.

There was an hour and a half wait on Easter Sunday around 10 AM. We left and tried again Monday around 8 and had no wait. The strawberry waffle was delicious but not worth more than a 30 minute wait. The gift shop is worth checking out. We had outstanding service!

Each time we go to San Antonio, we go to The Guenther House at least twice. This is undoubtedly the best place for breakfast and brunch. The biscuits, pancakes and waffles are simply the best. And the location and building is wonderful.

Well, this was a hour and a half wait for Easter Breakfast. But, we didn't complain because you wait everywhere on Holidays and you had beautiful gardens; the river; the museum and the house to look through (all free of charge). Also - if you want to walk its part of the King William historic neighborhood and that is worth... More

Enjoy a quiet brunch by the river with nice country food. The champagne chicken enchiladas are seriously delicious. Came with my teens and pre-teen and they all enjoyed it as well.

You have to try the sweet cream waffle! It was delicious! The biscuits are huge and are even better with the sausage gravy!

We visited 12 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son and the memories have never left me! We had breakfast here again with our 2 boys (9 & 11) and we were all impressed with the food quality. Service is excellent and sitting outside is so enjoyable. I would recommend this place first in San Antonio!!
