This was my first time at this restaurant. I had migas and they were very good. This is a very informal restaurant . Service was good. You pay as you exit.

We’ve been here on several visits to San Antonio. It’s always bustling and busy with the benches in the long entry hall filled with people patiently waiting their turn. Customers are willing to wait because the service is quick and the turnover is too (but you’re not hurried out faster than you want to exit), the food is delicious and... More

We have eaten at many Mexican Food Restaurants in San Antonio but in the end we return to Piedras Negras de Noche. They have good Tex-Mex at a very reasonable price.

This restaurant is a local hangout that does get crowded, but you can usually get a table. The original restaurant is next door but got damaged by a fire, so they moved right next to it in the old Pizza Hut restaurant where there is more room. It is very casual. The pork nachos were fabulous. The tacos are full,... More

We came in starving for some fajitas and enchiladas and Mole chicken. Fajitas & enchiladas plate was decently cooked. The mole was not natural chicken but processed chicken. The salsa and chips work decent. Frijoles borrachos we're lacking flavor. Place has a vintage old-school feel to it but it does have a foul odor when you want him. Food is... More

Had a wonderful time at this local eatery. The pecan pancakes were great...huge and 3 for $6. Good coffee. Nice, friendly and fast staff.

The place is clean & it looks like a mini version of" Mi Tierra price wise" but the food is good especially their mexican enchiladas it's very cheesy & their flour tortillas are home made too.

Great food at very reasonable price. Menu is very extensive, offering typical mex fare as well as real mexican meal like home. Price was good, for lunch plate for under $6 (like Pork chop or chicken) portion was about right and excellent desserts.

Our service was ok, our food was wonderful! And it was great price. We defiantly beat the crowd. By the time we were done with breakfast there was already a wait! Will defiantly be on our todo list when we return!! I had the juevos rancheros, friend had the omelette, breakfast tacos, and we heard the pork chop breakfast is... More
