Homemade tortillas and food was made to order. Great service by all. We had a party of five and everyone was overly satisfied.

Visiting San Antonio, stopped for dinner. Restaurant is shabby and dirty on the inside. Our waiter did not know anything about specials I saw on board in lobby and did not offer to find out when I asked about a dish. Brought our drinks in...More

I started going to Alamo Cafe over 30 years ago when the business was just north of 410 on San Pedro. I went there a LOT. My girlfriend even worked there. I spent a lot of time eating my way through the menu. It was...More

Very little flavor & zero soul in anything at this restaurant. Even the extra spicy michelada was bland. This restaurant is always very busy. I go there only because others choose it for social gatherings.

Alamo Café, the San Pedro location, is a "don't miss" spot for locals and tourists alike. The atmosphere is excellent, whether siting inside, at the bar, or on the patios. Very good food at a surprising low price. Margaritas = A-, tortillas = A-, fajitas...More

We have been eating at this restaurant for decades - this was the last time! The service was extremely slow, non-attentive, and failed to deliver tortillas or refill chips. Found a manager to get help with chips and tortillas. One tortilla warmer for a large...More

First time I have been there - the food was good (didn't try the margarita though). This was a private party for a fairly large group - we were there for three hours celebrating a 80th birthday (family member). Felt the staff did a very...More

Great Tex-Mex and cold margaritas. They make their own tortillas so they are always fresh, soft and warm. Their beef/chicken fajitas combo is my favorite fare here. We go about once a month to get our favorite. It will look like there are a lot...More

I had not eaten here for many years. It was still just as good as i remember and it is busy. So plan on a long wait unless you get there early.

If you are looking for bland and tasteless food, this is your kind of place. The best part of the meal was the tortillas. We were very disappointed and could not even report it.. saw our waitress one time.. Definitely will be removed from our...More
