The food was cold when it came out and the service was also. Just a very uninviting service. Will not go back!

I think the title pretty much sums up how the visit went. I had never eaten at a Joe's Crab Shack mainly due to the fact that I don't like seafood, but I am married and she does. The place is dirty, everything was sticky and greasy. Seriously it just needed to be wiped down with more than a dry... More

Seemed to have many exotic cocktails but also a regular seafood menu with lots of options and special lunch deals. Food was plentiful and it is nice to sit by the river walk.

I hadn't been near a Joe's in years and was excited to go. But, I was disappointed in all aspects. It was not busy, yet we had poor service when the staff was just standing around talking. The fried fish we ordered came out slow and was not hot when we got it. It was greasy and chewy. The onion... More

Went on a date with my husband ahead of Valentine's Day since I'll be gone tomorrow for family reason. With our observance of meatless Friday in Lent we went to Joe's. It's still early evening and so the place was not busy yet. We sat in a booth near the bar, it was comfortable. The table had all the amenities:... More

This place was good-n-fun the first time we went so we searched it out on a second trip through San Antonia along I-10. It seems to be a continuing favorite of locals and visitors alike and we will go again.

I ate here with Friends and Family. We enjoyed the Queen and King crab legs. Dessert was key lime pie. They should give the restaurant a good scrubbing, but the crabs tasted fresh.

Went to Joe's Crab Shack for a last minute celebration dinner, just the two of us, and it just wasn't a good experience. The hostess was none too friendly in seating us, then the waiter kind of followed suit - not that I need a waiter to be chatty and outgoing, but just a touch of friendliness and welcome goes... Our boys wanted to try it since they had never been. There was no one at the door to greet us which should have been our first clue, but we stayed anyway. Our server was less than personable and everything took a long time. All the food tasted exactly the same which makes me wonder when was the last time... More

Not worth the money at all. I rarely pull out the ol' 1 star rating, but here goes. Had the KJ Bucket. Scallops were so salty, I had to rinse them to eat them. Mussels were siting on top of the liquid, so they were dry and had no flavor. Crab legs were just ok. Shells were rubbery. I told... More
