Had lunch after walking around the Riverwalk. The pigeons were all over- walking on the tables and under the tables. We had the appetizer sampler and it was very good. Will not return because of the birds.

So, the hotel recommended this place. We think they know the owners or workers-maybe? The view of the river is nice but having birds land ON your table, come up to your feet to beg, land on other tables and pick at the wrapped napkins,...More

We ate at Acenar on a Thursday evening. It was not crowded since we went early. The appetizer we had was cheese, chorizo, onions and peppers. The Queso Flameado was delicious. I had the short rib tacos which were great too, but I was full...More

It was okay, nothing to really get excited about. Decent food, a bit overpriced for portion sizes and selections, but it is on the Riverwalk, nice view with patio seating. Spacious area inside.

The food and drinks were excellent. We had the carnitas and flank steak. The frozen Margarita I believed was called the Tuna was very good also. The ambiance was good but very loud hard to have a serious conversation.

I went here for the FoodK and they were offering sopapillas as their dish. The sopapilla was delicious and was served with ice cream and a berry sauce. It was crispier and more like a chip than most sopapillas. They were not at all prepared...More

This is a nice locals spot nestled off Houston Street and backing onto the Riverwalk. Seating in the bar, dining room or outside on the Riverwalk. I had the Chile Relleno which was nicely done and a side of refired beans and rice. My other...More
