We stopped here for some BBQ after visiting the Zoo, it's right around the corner from there. I was hesitant with the line out the door, but it moved quickly and it was worth the wait. My fiance and I had pulled pork and jalapeño...More

Our Uber driver recommended this place, and we are so glad we listened! Great smoke flavor and yummy BBQ sauce! The pork ribs and brisket were great. You order the preprepared food at the window, pay there, and take it to the table yourself. But,...More
The Smoke Shack was too busy, so my friends and I thought we would try Augie's. The line was long and place full -- how could we go wrong?!? The veggies were just okay. But when the guy pulled out the brisket, it had the...More
It smells so good from the moment you step through the door. The food does not disappoint either. The brisket is classic Texas style. Loved the chicken too. Great sides that we loved are the sweet potatoes, beans, corn and slaw.
This was our first visit. The guy taking orders couldn't answer any questions about any of the menu items. The burgers were burned beyond recognition, and they forgot the chili and cheese on the chili cheese dog. We definitely won't be going back
In our group we had the brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs with coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was the best I've ever had in a restaurant, and everything else was fantastic! The dry rub on the...More
Great BBQ. We had ribs and chopped brisket. Both were delicious. The sides were also great: green beans, coleslaw and potato salad. Staff was friendly. My husband had a giant chili dog ( the Aug Dog) and loved it. Would recommend . Great little place.
Barbecue is all about the interplay between the smoke and the meat. Augie's gets this part absolutely right. The brisket was melting your mouth tender with a nice pink smoke green. Ribs, fall off the bone but definitely had stayed in the smoke long enough...More
Stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had the 3-rib platter with corn and coleslaw. Both were very good.
My wife and I had the pork ribs, the brisket and the pulled pork. All good. The Mac and Cheese was wonderful and the potato salad was good. The place is small but the price was right and I will eat there again.
