When looking for places to dine in Friday Harbor, Coho caught my eye and I'm so glad it did. This is a small space so reservations are a must. That said, we were very comfortable and had a relaxed meal of terrific food with great service. We shared starters of wild mushroom ravioli and Alaskan spot prawn cakes, both exquisite.... More

We had a lovely dinner with interesting ingredients. Plates are on the small side. Had octopus that was delicious. Wouldn't have wanted to be there with a large person. Small, close tables but wonderful service! Not romantic as the tables are sooo close.

We were wandering around the town looking for a place to eat dinner. We came upon this restaurant and were intrigued by the menu and the early bird 2 for $70 special. After going inside and talking to the hostess, we made a reservation. From the moment we walked in to sit down, until we left, the entire experience was... More

We too ordered the from the prix fixe menu and were more than happy and satisfied with everything; the wine, salad & soup, main courses, and finally the flavorful house-made ice creams. Reservations are recommended, don't miss this charming establishment!

This is a very small restaurant, with the appearances of being in an old house. The service was absolutely excellent- as was the food. I had a duck ragout and it was divine. I would highly recommend this place.

This is it a large spot, so if you are intent on dining here, make a reservation. There is a prix fixe menu from approx 3 pm to 5:45. This is a excellent alternative if you are a little budget conscious. 3 course and a bottle of wine for 2 at $70i believe. If you can't make that, expect high... More

This was by far our favorite dinner of the few nights we spent here. We did the chefs tasting and upgraded to the salmon and halibut and both were DELICIOUS!! Very small place so I would call and make a reservation. The wait staff was great and make suggestions on wine pairings.

Joel, We are glad to hear that your dinner at Coho Restaurant exceeded your expectations. Thank you for rating us #1 on San Juan Island. This place was very small so make reservations. It is within walking distance of the ferry, but off the main road. The food was excellent and so was the service. We would definitely return!

The food was excellent - the octopus appetizer and the chicken were especially good and the seafood was also good. Good local wine selection.

Mike, We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience at Coho Restaurant. Chef Bill's octopus is a house specialty - wonderfully seasoned, delicate and incredibly tender. (The recipe is on our website if you want to give it a try at home!) The chicken is a Jidori chicken. Unlike Kobe beef that is from a particular region... More

We opted for an early dinner and enjoyed the chefs tasting with upgrades to get the beef and the halibut. We both enjoyed our meals and the ice cream at the end was the perfect touch.

Donna, Thank you for dining at Coho Restaurant. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our chef's tasting. We make our ice cream in small batches using cream from a local dairy and farm fresh eggs. Each flavor is exquisite. We are glad you agree. We would love to have you back for dinner the next time you are... More
