Excellent local space away from all the touristy spots. Great food at a reasonable price. Our breakfast was lovely on the quaint outdoor patio. Check it out. Happy travels.

The deal with Santa Fe is that there is always a wait. Lots of the really good restaurants are crowded and packed with tourists. So, the thought of Sunday breakfast or brunch and be discouraging. I was in town for a few days with a friend and she recommend that we try The Tune Up Cafe. Her friend, a local,... More
We were told about this place before our trip to Santa Fe. We stopped in on our first night in town and are glad that we did. It has a very down to earth vibe, not at all 'touristy,' and has a good selection of southwestern and El Salvadoran menu items. I had the mole enchiladas which were terrific, and... More
Eat here! Just do it! I had a gluten free waffle with berries and crema. So good! It is so hard to find a gluten free waffle at a restaurant so I was very impressed that it was a special for the day and then it was just so good!
We had late breakfast at the Tune Up Cafe, my wife who normally does not care for Chili Relleno ordered the breakfast with it and eggs and beans, "Amazing" she said and ate the whole thing. The place is small but very cute and I am sure it gets real busy at lunch and dinner so plan on waiting a... More
Located just outside the Railroad district, this is a well loved little restaurant. Fresh ingredients and a variety of offerings such as lamb tacos. The chef had previously worked at Pascual's, a lovely, more upscale restaurant, and had brought some of the finesse and beauty to this more simple venue. It obviously had a devoted clientele. Great service. In fact,... More
We ate here on our spring break trip to Santa Fe. The food is amazing. They have indoor and outdoor dining. This is a Resteraunt that Guy Feiri has featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The only down side is limited parking.
We love to visit restaurants featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Tune Up Cafe did not disappoint! My husband and I enjoyed every bite! Watch the DDD clip on YouTube and enjoy the featured dishes! Amazing!! We will be back!
First off there were some trade offs to earning the 5-star. I would not give it 5-stars from just watching the diners, drive-Ins, and dives feature plus reading menu online. I had the tune up breakfast (chili rellenos) but got too excited for it and forgot to snap a pic and a steak pupusa to go. After reading the menu... More
I go out for breakfast with a friend occasionally who likes Tune Up. We hadn't been for a while so went back yesterday. Very satisfactory. The staff is very friendly, the setting is small but nice. But if you are a "booth" person, there is only 1. Too, if you want privacy there is little because there are lots of... More
