This restaurant must be the best value for fine dining in Santa Fe. It's a 10 minute ride from the Plaza area, but worth the trip. The food is interesting and authentically spiced, so everything is delicious. Friendly staff and affordable prices--perfect dinner.

The Jambo Cafe is new to Albuquerque,,,African-Caribbean fare is delicious...all twelve of us at our table enjoyed everything we ordered. Unfortunately, they are not yet ready to serve a large number of diners at one table. It took too long to be served...our waiter seemed...More

I have always been drawn to the different or strange. In picking restaurants , this can be exhilarating or traumatic..... it is rarely in the middle. So when I heard about an " African " restaurant, my imagination was piqued. The decor was not like...More

To be fair, we ate in the late afternoon - an off time, I suppose. The wait staff were eating together in another room and we did feel that we were a bother to them. I ordered the beef kabobs and they were incredible. The...More

Jambo offers some of the best food in Santa Fe. The lanb sandwich is specially tasty! A local favorite and a great place to bring out of town guests.

When I moved here I drove this place a lot. It's in a strip mall and has a large neon sign in the shape of Africa out front. Not exactly what you'd expect in Santa Fe. It also happens to be next to a hardware...More

Love this place offering delicious African-Carribbean Cuisine. Love the Jerk Chicken Wings and the Plantain Crab cakes and the Coconut Tiger Shrimp. Make sure you save some room for the dessert at the end, I had the Jamaican Rum and Pecan Pie.

The dishes were not heavily seasoned, but all of ours contained sodium. There are links on their website for their menu and to ask jambocafe directly.
