We had stopped overnight in Santa Fe in January--it was 14 F. We had been walking around and were both very cold and very hungry. We stumbled upon this place on the way back to our hotel and what a wonderful find it was. The fireplace was warm as was the service--and the food was first class. My wife had... More

Stayed in the hotel and know the restaurant is not owned by St F. As we were heading home that morning we decided to eat at the hotel. "Host" was incredibly grumpy. Barely acknowledged our presence, never looked at us, I forcefully said "good morning" and he mumbled good morning back. I will say however our server at the table... More

We wanted to have a special meal for the holiday season, and decided to go back to Tabla. Our first experience there was outstanding...from food to service and atmosphere. Last night was no exception! Our biggest decision was whether to order the same appetizers and entrees as before, because they were so amazing, or to try something different. Our server,... More

Decided to have lunch here as another restaurant we wanted to dine at had a 1 hour wait----no thanks. we were seated at a delightful table next to the fireplace which made the experience very nice. It has been too many years since we have been here but it is still as good as I remember. My wife had a... More

We have eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We dined there last week with a group of friends and everyone raved about their food. Steaks were tender and perfectly prepared as was the lamb, duck and scallops and the accompaniments were creative and delicious. We also had breakfast there on Thanksgiving weekend and again, the food... More

We've eaten in many places -- from Paso Robles to Poland, from Oaxaca to Oceanside -- and our meal at Tabla de los Santos was among the very best meals we've had anywhere. Both the lamb and the duck were tender and tasty. The accompaniments and sauces showed great creativity -- not your typical "seasonal vegetables" -- and were great... More

The service was impeccable - great recommendations from our server and attentive throughout the meal. The bread is outstanding and the hummus is unique and very tasty. Our prawn appetizer was delicious. My steak and my wife's duck were cooked exactly as we ordered. Both entrees were outstanding and the accompaniments (potatoes au gratin and ravioli) were outstanding as well.... More

This restaurant was attached to the hotel my partner and I stayed at during a recent visit to Santa Fe--but oddly, the hotel and the restaurant are completely unrelated. Wanted to grab a quick breakfast here before a day of sightseeing--only to discover that it's closed on Mondays AND Tuesdays? Finally was able to have breakfast here on the third... More

Anne provided us wth excellent service and fantastic guidance in choosing our starter and entree. We had the best salad I have ever tasted - a butter lettuce with warm creamy dressing - and the filet and trout were wonderful as well. Sitting by the fire while eating a great meal - a wonderful first night in Santa Fe.

Our group was wandering the old town and scoped out the St Francis Hotel since it was the starting point for an Historic walking tour after lunch. After noticing the menu for this restaurant we subsequently returned for lunch with our group of 8. Despite prices comparable to many other top rated restaurants within a few blocks, it was not...
