Enjoyed lunch here on recent visit to Santa Fe. Both of us had hamburgers. Waiter suggested their “world famous guacamole”.... it was wonderful!!! He also persuaded us to go for dessert, which we graciously succumbed to! We split a piece of their key lime pie...More

So cool to dine at the oldest restaurant in Santa Fe! And it doesn't hurt that the food is excellent to boot. It doesn't look like much when you enter-- like a retro 50's diner-- but the breakfast and brunch is to die for. Not...More

We ate lunch at this place on a Monday. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The people seating around us were locals who definitely knew how to add "color" to our experience. My daughter and I ate in silence (a carnitas quesadilla and a Fry...More

We have at least one meal here when we are in on the Santa Fe plaza. I had the BLT with Avocado and Sweet Potato fries. Outstanding ! I will say that the staff really needs to pay attention to how long customers are waiting...More

Fantastic cinnamon sweet roll. I love gooey sweet cinnamon rolls and this one was excellent. My wife had buttermilk pancakes and they were very good. For her, one pancake would have been sufficient as they are large. We also had an order of extra crispy...More

Friend and I were visiting Santa Fe, and some other friends had mentioned the Plaza Café for breakfast. Since we were about 10-15 minute walk from the Plaza, we decided to try walk over on morning. Glad we did! It's definitely the classic diner, but...More

Super efficient and friendly place. Guacamole was pretty spicy, just FYI. I ordered the wrong thing. Burger had no flavor. Co-worker said he had a great breakfast here.

Here you'l find a mix of locals and out-of-towners. It definitely has a "diner feel". It's casual, the serving staff friendly and quick, but the food a bit over priced and not especially fantastic or tasty. This feeling was unanimous, but it could be just...More

There are a few breakfast items available all day -- I believe the Traditional Breakfast being one of them which was my favorite -- two eggs, sausages/bacon, toast and hash browns (have them made crispy) --too die for!!!

Known as Santa Fe's oldest restaurant, the Plaza Cafe serves highly acclaimed, authentic traditional dishes since 1905. Located on the historic Santa Fe Plaza, you won't find a better view or atmosphere while you enjoy an authentic New Mexican experience. The Razatos family keeps with the traditional cooking methods and flavor combinations of New Mexico and additional recipes from Greece, all the while keeping with the classic American diner experience. This is why you'll find everything from blue corn green chile carne asada enchiladas with a warm pillowy sopaipilla to chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a gyro with a Greek salad on the side. The Plaza Cafe is a favorite among locals and movie stars alike, and everything finds what they are looking for at the Plaza.
