Since we have lived in Santa Fe we have passed this restaurant countless times. We gave it a try a few weeks ago. The service was outstanding. My wife asked a question about the salmon and the chef came out personally to answer her question. Prices were VERY reasonable. The food was excellent. This place is now on our list... More

I had the daily special - chicken fajitas. It was a large portion, tender chicken and good. I couldn't decide between red or green chili, so got half and half. I'd go there again for Mexican.

Found this restaurant off the interstate before you get to Santa Fe. The reviews were good. Restaurant was empty at two in the afternoon but the food was excellent. Chili Relleno's were excellent. Chili Verde was very good and traditional Mexican style. Why pension saw that was also excellent. The place is a winner

Relying on other reviews, we headed to Pecos Trail Cafe for a late lunch. It was fairly quiet inside so we had no wait time. Being extremely familiar with Tex-Mex, we were hoping for the best in the flavor of the food and found ourselves completely satisfied with all the flavors in our lunch of Flautas! They weren't greasy at... More

We got a little bit turned around on our way to the museum, and the place we had hoped to have breakfast had a 40 minute wait. We found this place quite by accident. It is not much to look at on the outside, but oh my goodness. My husband had the cowboy breakfast, I had the chilaquiles. Both were... More

Had a Friday night dinner with friends and enjoyed great food, New Mexican Cuisine. Also, wonderful Live Music. Very attentive servers. They have a very nice private room for parties. I plan to host a group there later this month.

We had a family reunion dinner here since we were staying at the Inn next door. Jorge, the owner, graciously allowed us to use the room the night before so we could prepare. He provided us with a great selection of menu choices. The food was great and the price could not be beat.

There are many good places to eat in Santa Fe and the Pecos Trail Cafe is one of them! The great New Mexican Cuisine is matched with excellent, friendly service! I would like to recommend a good dish to try but everything on the menu I had was fantastic! After a day of riding in the "Land of enchantment" this... More

I have the Shrimp Veracruzana and it was a diet friendly, tasty experience. Sauce was mild, but plenty of flavor. My tablemate had a Quesadilla (chicken and cheese) and was very happy with it. This is not a fine dining experience, but a nice meal without breaking your wallet. I would go back.

Pecos Trail Inn was a little out of our way, but it did get great reviews, and we were wanting some good Mexican food. My friend and I both had the chicken enchiladas, with the beans and rice. It was flavorful and filling, and the price of $9 was a good value..
