We decided to try a new place for us and The Santa Fe Bite was the perfect place for lunch. My wife and I split a burger and wedge salad and both were delicious. The service was quick and the prices were very fair.

We have honestly had just as good green chile cheeseburgers at a lot of places in Santa Fe...there used to be less competition than there is now. Every restaurant chef seems to have their own special version of it. So if you love them, you...More

We both had the sopu, salad, and sandwich combo and it was very good. The chicken tortilla soup was flavorful, the salad was fresh and the green chile chicken sandwich was good enough to,stand on its own. The best part of the meal was the...More

We did not go to the original Bobcat Bite, but took the opportunity this visit to go and try Santa Fe Bite. Everyone agreed that MY Green chili burger was the best. Of course, after giving three other family members a bite, there wasn't much...More

We enjoyed our visit. I had the green chile cheeseburger and chile cheese fries. Burger was slightly undercooked but very tasty. My son had chicken flautas which were also quite good. The dining room was nice with a vintage car feel and had much better...More

We loved this restaurant when it was Bobcat Bite and only offered hamburgers. Now it's conveniently in town with a much larger menu but just not the same as before. Good location for breakfast and people watching in the summer.

They were super busy but we got seated quickly. The hostess was super sweet but she was so busy trying to take care of tables and the front door. Everyone waiting on us seemed cheerful though we didn’t have just one waiter/waitress??? The food was...More

Ok the green chili cheese burger was truly fabulous! Also order sweet potato fries and the chocolate cake for dessert. The burgers are big and the selection of beer on tap was very good. The local brown nut beer was very good

We've been here twice, the first time for "dessert"—apple pie and a vanilla malt, which my wife and I shared. The malt was excellent, thick enough that we needed a spoon to eat it. Apple pie was, hands down, among the best restaurant/bakery pies either...More

The big contest in Santa Fe is which place serves the best green chili burger. I had high hopes for The Bite, but I have to say I'm still looking after my visit there. Some really like the mix of beef that is their burger...More

The Famous Green Chile Cheeseburgers are back! John and Bonnie Eckre, formerly of Bobcat Bite, are taking their food to the next level at the new Santa Fe Bite located inside Garrett's Desert Inn on Old Santa Fe Trail. In addition to their savory Green Chile Cheeseburgers, Santa Fe Bite features fresh tacos, fish and chips, sandwiches, a choice of French or sweet potato fries and a little something they like to call 'The Big Bite' that comes with a side of buttery garlic bread. Creamy milkshakes and homemade lemonade are just some of the sweet treats popping up on their new menu. Also, we are now serving beer and wine. Santa Fe Bite opens at 8am Saturday and Sunday which means early birds can sample tasty Breakfast menu offerings like hot cornmeal pancakes with maple syrup, brioche French toast with maple caramel sauce and house-made biscuits with Mom's gravy. Spend a leisurely Sunday outside at Santa Fe Bite. The new Brunch menu includes eggs benedict, Steak & Eggs and Huevos Rancheros.
