Pricey but well worth the investment. The food of us had four different meals including halibut, fillet Mignon, fajitas, and filet and enchiladas. Each meal was a masterpiece of taste and presentation. Compliments to the chef. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive or hovering. They are well trained. Very relaxed atmosphere with reservations being required. Make them and enjoy... More

Week before last we took friends here for breakfast. We go occasionally (not "often" so as not to spoil the special pleasure involved). Everything was as we've experienced in the past - wonderful ambiance, excellent service, excellent food. Our guests both had omelettes and enjoyed them tremendously. I had my favorite -- chorizo breakfast burrito with green chili -- and... More

The decor is absolutely gorgeous and very festive.look at all the hand painted window panes. Very unique. The food is always up to par and lots of great choices I Specially if you are in Santa Fe for the first time don't miss it.

Light atmosphere, relaxed, good service and food choices. New Year's Eve was fun, dance and great music.

This was our second visit. They did offer a military discount. We had the fajitas, but could have gotten by with splitting an order. The guac made at the table is a must. Food and service were outstanding.

We were spending the night in the hotel and took a long time with this meal, admiring the details of architechture, lighting, western art everywhere, even how the chairs were designed. Wines were chosen from other food exploits in California and Chile which invoke memories of the past to creat new memories. They served roasted beets with slivers of citrus... More

We were staying at La Fonda and decided to stay in and eat here. We made the right decision! First, they have an amazing selection of margaritas. I'm not a fan of the margaritas you get in most bars...sticky sweet and tart. These are how they are supposed to be! My favorite -- the cucumber. Oh yum. We had tableside... More

I really wanted to like this restaurant! Loved staying at the La Fonda hotel and so convenient to dine there in the cold winter's night. After several tries.....just didn't like the bland food (no salt, no spice) and very slow and rude service. The kitchen should try to live up to the lovely space and charming hotel.

We had lunch at La Plazuela at La Fonda. There were 8 in our party and the restaurant had no problem accommodating that large of a party. The dining room is in an enclosed atrium and is beautifully decorated. The menu was sufficiently diverse to please everyone's food preferences. The food was excellent, but the service left a lot to... More
