Since we didn't necessarily want Southwest cuisine we decided to try La Boca. They serve tapas, so ordering is fun because you get to try some of a lot of different things. Everything we ordered was excellent and the prices were fair. The wine selection...More

We wanted a nice but not too fancy a meal after a strenuous tourist day. Reserved on open table for the larger taberna dinning room. While tables are close the sounds are not overwhelming. Wine by the glass and three dishes, shrimp tacos crisp and...More

We really enjoyed our lunch at La Boca. The small plates were great, and the Sherry flight was enjoyable as we were able to pair it with the different dishes.

Had a fun dinner, our server Dylan was very helpful in making suggestions and making changes in plates as we requested. Everything thing he suggested was excellent. We would definitely return.

We stopped here last week during our vacation. The food is very good. The place is small, so make sure to get a reservation--it's very easy online. There's not a lot of parking, so you may have to walk.

Overall we found this restaurant to be just above mid-level tapas. The dishes were prepared well and the flavor was mostly on par. My favorite was the chicharrones. I also just drank beer as the wine bottle prices were quite high.

We went to La Boca for an early dinner and sat outside. The tapas selections were excellent as well as the wine options. Wait staff were helpful.

Such an amazing meal tonight at @labocasantafe. The hospitality was exquisite, and the Tapas were amazing! I enjoyed the boquerones, jamon, Caesar salad, and flatiron steak, but the real highlight was the bartender showing me some of his favorite sherries for dessert. Manzanilla la Kika,...More

Description
Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso. La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez. Full to capacity almost every night since its opening, La Boca has been a hit with both locals and the world travelers that visit Santa Fe. La Boca has earned numerous awards both local and national, including the Santa Fe Reporter’s “Restaurant of the Year,” and the International Wine and Food Society’s “Award of Excellence.”
