My friend and I ordered the cilantro lime tacos, the burger with french fries, and the chicken with campanelle pasta, heirloom tomatoes, spinach, sundried tomatoes in a light cream sauce. We ordered the bread pudding with grated white chocolate, raspberries, and fresh whipped cream. Everything was shared, and my friend and I will be back to try it again. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and so patient!

My friends and I made a reservation via Open Table for this restaurant, arrived early and were seated without a problem. Their menu is not large but the items on the menu are somewhat specialized. The 3 of us ordered 3 dishes and shared, we were very happy with our meal and the experience in general.
They do not have beer on tap, only bottled beers, but have wine and specialty drinks. Parking is a breeze in the shopping center parking lot and walking through Nordstrom to the restaurant.
We were here for the Beach Boys concert at Fred Kavli theatre and it was nice and close (2.5 miles away).

My wife and I love this place. It's menu has changed a bit, since it was Blue Stove, which focused on small bites, but the food is always good and it's a perfect lunch for weight-Watchers. We've been regulars for years, and will continue to go there, since Nordstrom's (its "host" store) is my wife's favorite store.

Limited menu which is fine as it is located in Nordstrom. Food was just ok. Tacos were good, as was burrata salad however we did not enjoy the chicken meatballs and fish and chips . Seemed pricey for what we got.

As their own staff calls it, “a hidden gem.” An apt description since it’s tucked away in a corner on the second floor of Nordstrom’s.
Formerly, Blue Stove, it’s very similar to its original incarnation, but they rely a bit less on appetizer portions and small plates. However the potions are not so large that many customers will be carrying leftovers around Nordstrom’s while they finish shopping.
The menu has a nice variety, with all made in house dressings, sauces, and sides.
Unsure of something, samples are willingly offered, whenever possible.
Full nutritional values are available for all menu items, including their children’s menu.
Sit at the bar, and you can even discuss selections with the cooks, who show a pride in their craft.
The selection of dishes gives you a variety that’s not always found on the average restaurant menu.
The food is freshly prepared, and well presented with attention to details on each plate.
There’s a wine list that pairs well with their food, along with cocktails and beer.
A hidden gem worth the find.

I dine here often with my husband, clients and friends. Food always delish, great cocktails and service!
The food and wine pairings are also a lot of fun! Has turned into one of our local favorites and I like to go shopping and sit at the Bar for a drink and my favorite Crab Bisque could enjoy a cup every day ..... Highly recommend

Tucked away on the second floor of Nordstrom in a shopping center. Fine service, short but inventive and varied menu and attentive service. Decent wine list. Reasonable pricing in all respects.
Worth a repeat.

Although Thousand Oaks is a great community, it is not known for exceptional cuisine. That has changed with Bazille (in Nordstrom). The food is very tasty, well presented and there is a very nice wine list. We will be back!

I dine here often, and this was the first time that was completely satisfied with everything.
1. The waitress: Jennifer was one the best waitresses I've ever had! Very attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly.
2. I am in love with the butter that this place serves with the bread!!! Hands down, the best ever. And, after complaining a few times about the cold bread, finally this time they warmed up the bread before serving it! I guess they ARE reading these reviews!
3. Thank you for adding items to your menu...The expansion gives us more choices and the specials menu makes us want to come again to try new things.
4. The avocado toast was very good. The goat cheese and pomegranate jam was excellent. The mango and crab salad was very fresh and tasty. I would've liked to see a little riper mangoes in it, though! Still very good. The special wine was just enough and very good. The pumpkin chocolate cake was wonderful!
Overall, this was an A+ experience! I'd highly recommend Bazille in Thousand Oaks, CA. Oh, I think a big factor for this rating was our waitress, Jennifer, who really made us feel welcomed and special :)

This restaurant is located in Nordstroms. Very nice atmosphere. Farm to table and top chef prepared. Great cocktail and wine menu. Salads, entrees and specials of the day. Service has always been good. I love there soups. I definitely would recommend you try this for lunch or dinner.

By now, I have tried everything on the menu and there are only 2 things that I really like here. Everything else is just average or below average. The chicken tacos (appetizer) are excellent and they have the best tasting butter I've ever tasted! They normally serve olive oil with the bread, but you ask for butter, you won't regret it!!!
Stay away from the Gnocchi with Lamb (way too greasy) and the salmon (tastes and smells like Costco's steelhead)! The salads are ok and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This is in the place that used to be Blue Stove, upstairs in Nordstrom. When it was Blue Stove, they served small plates, and they were great. But they've taken off most of the good items from the menu and replaced them with decidedly average food. Nothing wrong with anything we had, I just can't remember any of it because I might as well have gone to the food court. Not really very good, and we likely won't go back.

The former Blue Stove is now Bazille. Small plates are gone, so regular appetizers & entrees are back in. I really enjoyed the creativity of the old menu, but the quality of the food is just as good now. Service was excellent in the old days, and it's just as good now. I do hope they throw in a bit of menu rotation on this new Bazille format as it feels smaller than the old one.
