I don't usually rant, but tonight I was served food I'm allergic too after talking to not one, but THREE waitresses who clearly said they could accommodate me and even talked to the chef. Going out to eat is taking a chance that something could happen, but I put some of my trust in the restaurant and hope everything will... More

Oh my this is now a new favorite. This wasn't second time here. The first time, I didn't eat too much as we just came for drinks. This time we came for a birthday dinner. My friend was able to get reservations. The table was tucked away in the back but the service was very attentive. I ordered a couple... More

I went to eat at Typical Silician with three friends. We all liked our entrees. Two had a special cod francaise which came with a side of penne. One had veal and I had rigatoni ala mama with eggplant. All the food had good flavor and the portions are large enough for two meals. The prices range from aroung $17... More

The first time we went for dinner was on Valentine's Day. The place was packed but we stopped at the bar counter. Good appetizers, the arancini are really very good. The main courses where very good too (eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti bolognese, saltimbocca, chicken cutlets). Good choice of wines, we choose an Italian red Montepulciano D'Abruzzo and the price was fair.... More

One of our favorite restaurants is slipping downhill quickly. We have noticed a difference in the service, food quality, and preparation for a while now. One of the owners moved away and she was clearly the glue that held things together. Most of the wait staff is new and inexperienced. Our waitress didn't know how to open a bottle of... More

Been a customer for 17 years. Quality of food and service is definitely declining. Ever since owner Claudia moved away, it's just not the same! The food was marginal, doesn't include salad anymore either! $7.00 for a house salad is disgraceful. At least three police cruisers flew by lights blazing during our visit. The neighborhood is declining too. So sad.

Consistency is the truest measure of performance. Not sure when we were last here, but it was many moons ago, and I remember having the penne Gorgonzola, which I ordered again tonight. And once again it was fabulous! In fact all our meals were! Service was good, we had a nice semi-private area (appreciated because we had two little kids... More

I love this restaurant I recently had dinner and it's been almost a year since my first visit. The place is not huge but so worth waiting for a seat because the dishes are DELICIOUS! Staff are very friendly and drinks are on point. You want really great tasting Italian meal MUST come here...you won't regret it.

We had heard such good things about Typical Sicilian and couldn't wait to try it out. We were finally able to go and were pretty disappointed. The place is very small, so even though I had called before I came in with my wife and 2 children, and was told there was no wait, 15 minutes later there was a... More

The owner, Claudia, could not have been more accommodating. The food both gluten free (no wheat, rye barley) and regular meals were excellent. The The grilled articholk
