Found this place after a quick check on TripAdvisor and so glad we did. Absolutely love the diverse menu! We started with the salsa and a cup of gumbo. The salsa was perfect and the gumbo was excellent, with just the right amount of heat. For our entrees we had sea bass tacos and crawfish enchiladas again both were very... More

Stopped here for dinner with a group while on business in the area. The menu was interesting and had a lot of variety - not quite what I was expecting, but in a good way. The food was fine and I liked the casual environment.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Blue Cactus this afternoon and were extremely pleased with the experience. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this for a casual lunch or dinner if you are in the Murfreesboro area.

Great food and service! The shrimp and grits was the best I've had. The house salad was a tasty surprise. We will be back, probably many times.

By far one of my favorite locally owned restaurants. Clean, friendly staff, great food. I would recommend the following. Appetizer: seafood fondue is amazing the flavors are amazing & loaded with shrimp, crab, mushroom, garlic, fresh spinach & yummieness don't worry if you run out of little toasts they are sure to hook you up with more. Main course: Shrimp... More

We decided to stop on our road trip for a sit down meal but didn't want to do the usual Cracker Barrel, Wendy's, subway, etc. We stopped in about 2:00 on a Sunday. It was quiet in the restaurant. A lot of staff up toward the front. Made us a little concerned...but...then...the food happened! Great Fried tilapia tacos with a... More

Truly one our local faves! If you love Nawlins ' as much as we do treat yourself to a trip to Blue Cactus! Start with the Cajun Fondue and be SURE to save room for the best Tres Leche cake you've ever had! Some of our favorite entrees include the Boudin burger, the Fried Goat Cheese Salad (one of the... Friends suggested this restaurant so after church on a Sunday night we all trooped into the Blue Cactus Cantina for dinner. Sure glad we listened as the food was delicious but somewhat different than the usual Mexican restaurant menus. The usual salsa and chips were served while we were ordering and awaiting our meals, but even that was different. The... More

We went on a work lunch, which is later than most, so we had our choice of seats. Our server was great. The food came out quickly. We all had the chicken relleno chimichanga. It was served on rice and it was delicious. I liked how it was seasoned. It was a really large amount of food, but priced similarly... More

OK. Last time in the 'Boro, I went to another place that was ok. Tonight, I took in the other recommended place from that stay. Yuh-UM!! Ended up with two dishes with the same sauce. Had the Cajun Fondue appetizer. Great cajun flavoring of this chowder-like bowl of goodness. Spicy, but more black & cay-yahn peppah like, than jalapeño hot.... More
