We love this place. Your local bar and grill that makes you want to hug every bun in sight! Service is always great. Had the Lil hug but it was awesome. Great price vs quality!

Got the Sonoran steak sandwich. It was delicious. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. The breading stayed on until the last bite. My stepson got a cheese burger and home cut fries. The sandwich and the burger were prepared to order and cooked just as we asked for them, medium. There is a condiments bar... More

Their burger was great. I prefer charbroiled over the places that fry on a hot griddle. The fried zucchini and fried were good too. Reminded me of the Chuckbox I used to eat at across from ASU!

Hadn't been here in many years but stopped in on a whim recently hoping for a good burger like I remembered. I was not disappointed. I had the Fiesta Burger with pepper jack cheese and a green chile on it. You get your burger on a serving tray for you to put all the toppings you want on it from... More

If you're in Flagstaff, you must go to Bun Huggers! A perfectly grilled burger and all the fresh toppings. The fresh fries and zucchini are just delicious! Visit a bit of old Flagstaff.....just as good as when I went to NAU in the 80's!

I ordered the sonoran steak burger tonight, on my first visit to the place. It was made right in front of me, and the interior's atmosphere is a 50's-esque time warp while having 2 tvs to watch sports on. There also is a club/bar right next door, which i did not know. I wish i would've gotten a tap beer... More

I ordered the Big Hug, and was not disappointed. In fact, I was reminded of why I prefer charbroiled to something smashed on a hot griddle - I didn't have oodles of grease dripping out of my hamburger. I had forgotten that you don't need grease pouring out to have a juicy burger. This place did charbroiled right. I added... More

If I had to describe this place in one word, it would be "dirty". The gentleman who took our order looked drugged out. If he looked so bad, I can only imagine the backstaff. Everything was dirty. The booths, the floor. The condiment bar. The food was only OK. I will never be back.

I was in Flagstaff for a week and ate here several times having been told about it 30 years ago by a relative. I absolutely LOVE the place, it is simple, uncomplicated and every member of staff I encountered were so friendly and genuine. All cooked to order over a mesquite grill, my favourite sandwich was the Patty Melt and... More
