Nice place to grab a beer and if not too crowded play a game of pool.We were lucky enough to catch this place over this past weekend where it wasn't jam packed and enjoyed it.

Great location in Newport. Good bar food but it is the atmosphere that makes it a good place for a relaxing drink. Staff is very friendly and there is a nice patio at the rear of the pub. Reasonable prices for food and drinks.

Been here a few times. I haven't had any of the food, but the beer is cold and they've got a good selection of beers on draft (as well as cider.) We actually left to go to another bar and ended up coming back here...More
Walked in an a bunch of cops were hanging around, so you KNOW it was an authentic Irish pub, right down to the young lady (from Cork) with the Irish lilt. Nice bar with windows that open to the sidewalk

Came upon this place after dinner across the street at the White Horse Tavern. We heard the music spilling out the front door- and had to go have a look. What a pleasant group of musicians! Its a great spot for a jar of Guinness....More
