The food and service was great. Price is reasonable as in the location. I'd go back for sure. Here are three recommendations to get that 5th star for me. 1. When asked if certain fish on the menu was local...the chef didn't know. It was...More

Nicely located on Thames street, the restaurant upstairs has both an indoor and outdoor area. The drinks are reasonably priced and we enjoyed the house white. Food as expected is geared towards seafood. Red snapper special was great and such a big helping. The seafood...More

We are from the area and go to Newport often on the weekends. We love going to Benjamin’s with our friends. The lobster bisque and the lobster rolls are awesome. They have pineapple stolie which the boys love getting. My boyfriend loves the mother shucker....More

Excellent breakfast! Service was good and staff was very accommodating. Good management and did not have a "touristy" ambiance.

The best hot buttered lobster roll I've ever had! Also on Tuesday's the raw bar is super cheap. The shrimp and oysters were delicious. Over the past three years this restaurant has been consistently amazing!

We had the opportunity to eat lunch at Benjamins. We ordered fresh lobster an it was some of the best lobster that we have ever eaten. We definitely will go back if we ever have the opportunitiy to visit Newport.

We had a delicious meal. The steaks are huge and the lobster roll is stuffed with huge chunks of meat. The waitress was very friendly and it was not too loud. You didn’t need to yell to the people at your table to be heard....More

We always stop in to Benjamin's for a couple of meals. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and diner. The food is tasty, the menu varied, but I opt for the seafood selections. The prices are very reasonable and the servings generous.

This is a quirky place very welcoming for tourists. Coming home to New England, I was ready for lobster roll (lump meat in butter in a split-top hotdog bun with lemon) and some clam chowder. Neither disappointed. My partner's hamburger was big and cooked correctly...More
