What a gem for tonkastu fans like me! The taste and service are truly authentic and it also helps when the salad, rice and miso soup are "bottomless" when you order it with your course. Our entire family enjoyed the donburi, kurobuta-style, katsu-curry and etc... you can't go wrong with any of the choices. Thumbs up!

Service is friendly , menu is not extensive , mainly Katsu in different ingredient. Pork is the reason why we came .Fried oysters came in... More

Had the chicken katsu, amazingly crispy outsides with juicy interior. Maybe a little too fatty but what do you expect with fried food! Popular place, had to wait quite a while for our take-out to get prepared.

This was a really cute off the street hole in the wall. I never expected the food to be so great!! It was way beyond my expectation, i was rally blown away from the tenderness of the tonkatsu, so onolicious. It s bit small and very busy, as always you know it great when its busy and crowded. I will... More

Authentic Japanese tonkatsu + service. It's actually about 10 dots worth. We got their house specialty one. So moist and melts in your mouth. And, they keep giving you extra cabbage refills. VERY YUMMY! Excellent service: they were reasonably fast (for hawaiian time) and very very nice.

This is a small restaurant but very popular among Japanese tourists. It is best to make a reservation before you go because it is quite crowded. I love that this place provides unlimited salad (chopped cabbage) with dressing.

Just right for lunch. Delicious pork tenderloin sandwich, side cabbage salad and bowl of miso soup. Good service. Would go again.

The tonkatsu is delicious! Freshly made - different types of pork! Grind the roasted sesame seeds at your table, then add them to your tonkatsu sauce. It is so good!

Small cosy restaurant with great service and good money for value. Get there early so you don't wait for a table.

Every time I go to Tokyo/Japan, I always eat here and at Otako, which serves oden. This place serves the best tonkatsu I've had in Tokyo. I recommend the pork filet tonkatsu, for which 4-5 healthy portions of pork cutlet are provided. The outside is crispy due to the high temperature fryer they use and the meat is very tender....
