I've heard about this place for the past 3yrs and finally was able to go. It is hands down the best on island. We tried strawberry. I look forward to taking the rest of the family.

We didn't meet Uncle Clay but this place has the best shaved ice with ice cream and fruit. We had the strawberry delight, rainbow and ultimate. So good! As others said it's in a strip mall. Good place to visit after Hanauma Bay.

Uncle Clay is a wonderfully kind and gentle soul. He brings loads of aloha to the House of Pure Aloha. If you drop in when he's there, be sure to talk story for a while. The shave ice here is the best on Oahu. You can add ice cream to your shave ice, and I often do (vanilla or green... More

Total Hawaiian Aloha, uncle clay has been here every time we come to get shaved ice. Ok save ice:-). Great dessert, be sure to put this on the list to check out on Oahu. Near diamond head stop and get a treat.

As soon as you open the door, you begin to experience the true meaning of ALOHA. From being greeted upon entering the shop to watching your order being made- all from the heart. Uncle Clay's Shave ice is not your typical Shave ice. The syrups are homemade and uses all natural ingredients. In all honesty, when I first tried it,... More

The shave ice is delicious and refreshing, but in an understated and almost elegant way. The syrups and ice cream are apparently all made with natural ingredients, no corn syrup, etc., which is clearly evident in how it tastes. My only (minor) gripe, and reason for the one-star deduction is that a "mini" at $5.00+ is fairly pricey (although not... More

Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha is a delicious find. Their fresh fruit syrups are amazing and the ice is so fine.

My son and his friends went to purchase shave ice after club basketball practice. I didn't go into the facility, waited outside. From what I saw, this didn't appear to be a place that sold meals, just snacks.

The shave ice was on point. We added the "dream" sauce which was really good...similar to condensed milk.

We were on our way back from sight seeing with our friends who have never had shave ice and of course they had to try it! It was interesting how they sandwiched the ice cream with the shave ice. We had never had it this way and it was very tasty. I was disappointed they did not have macadamia nut... More
