Let's be honest. With a name like Loving Hut, I wasn't expecting exquisite cuisine. What I found instead was a hearty home cooked meal. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. I am not a pasta fan but I ordered spaghetti and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely return.

Run by a couple of very very sweet Chinese ladies - try their fresh dumplings and noodle soups for the best experience. We tried the veggie chilli and the eggplant-tofu with rice. Both were quite disappointing. The soup was hearty and fresh, however.

We were running late to school. Stopped at Subway for lunch. I refused to eat there; went around the corner and saw The Loving Hut. Went in to see what it was all about. Vegan food. Hmm. But it had vegan pho, lemongrass tofu, tofu curry. Ended up choosing the spicy noodles. So good! Made it perfect eating it at... More

We were anxious to try out Loving Hut as it is one of the restuarants on our lsit of "must visit" and eat restuarants! We were greeted immediately uopn entering by the nicest server. I wish i would of got her name so I could recognize her on here. She offered to describe to us the many options they offer... More

The staff are very friendly and the food is good however the prices are up there on average you would be spending up to $12-$20 and if you are a student you would know that is not realistic. The food does not take very long for them to prepare. I wonder if it's purchased before hand because there are hardly... More

Great vegan food just a few blocks from convention center and Ala Moana. Cozy location. A great respite from Waikiki craziness.

The loving hut is one of my favorite vegan restaurants if all. I visited this location over 4-years ago and had a transformative culinary experience. I was told the then owner, a women, has since passed away. She was lovely and joined my for lunch when she learned I had just begun my vegan journey. Now in 2016 the restaurant... More

We ate here several times during our trip - great Vegan food and very friendly staff. The menu isn't huge, but excellent quality - my favorites were the chili beans and the chocolate brownies for desert, but everything we tried was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

I do not think the restaurant we visited was at this location, but was obviously part of the same chain. The store we visited was downtown more near Chinatown. We were just walking around Honolulu looking for a place to eat, and we found this one. We were both very pleased an excited to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in the... More

Wifey had the thanksgiving special the day after! She loved it. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, "turkey", and cranberry sauce with a roll! I had the pho with tofu. Highly recommend!
