first time to try jamaican food - very nice tastes, pleasant environment. The owner came out and explained the cooking. Definitely would recommend.

The stewed chicken was gobbled up super quick, so leftovers (which I am accustomed to enjoying the next day) were non-existent. Overall, delicious food but wish the portions were what... More

Jamaican jerk chicken was fantastic. Great atmosphere. A must for any Caribbean food lover. If you like spice ask for the Fire on Your Wire sauce.

We had to try a Jamaican restaurant in Hawaii, especially one that was featured on drive in, dinner & dives. It's a bit hard to find and it's an order and then sit down kind of place, the only issue with that is that they don't give you a number, so they kept coming to us with the wrong order... More

The reviews about the jerk wings being soggy and seemingly tl prepared long before they are served were true (I wanted to pass but my husband... More

I can safely say that throughout our entire trip to Hawaii, this place was worth taking the time out to visit for authentic Caribbean food. The food was the best we had tasted throughout our entire trip. Jerk wings were to die for, jerk chicken also the salad with dressing made entirely by the chef himself was mouthwatering. The Ital... Our first visit to Jawaiian Irie Jerk restaurant left us feeling positive. In a neighborhood full of good eateries we would come back here. We tried 5 dishes and enjoyed them all but the curry goat was voted best. The coconut curry shrimp appetizer was my favorite as well as the nutty cheesy rice with Callaloo, a wild spinach. The... Everything we ordered came out looking and tasting amazing. Small place, intimate casual setting. You won't be disappointed! Staff is excellent, a well oiled machine. Can't wait to go back.
