We showed up on the wrong day. I was 24hrs early but they were able to seat us at the dinner bar which had a great view into the kitchen. They encouraged us to talk with and ask questions of the chefs while they worked. Which we did. Camille was a pleasant twenty something that was happy to talk while... More

Tasting menu was full of surprises. On par with a good Australian degustation menu. The Restaurant could do with an update but you go for the food not the surrounding's.

We decided to have our last meal in Honolulu at Alan Wong's, because it came highly recommended and we managed to get an early reservation We all had the tasting menu the 5 course one, because it had a few of the most popular menu items, ie the short rib and the crusted onaga. The shrimp and lobster lasagna was... More

Decided on the Tasting menu but with a couple of changes. The waiter didn't quite get it right so I ended up eating my fish while my husband waited for his course. We also changed 2 desserts for 1 cheese plate, we were charged an extra $5. We went for a bottle of Chardonnay after enjoying 2 champagnes. My husband... More

Alan Wong's is a gastronomic pleasure of Hawaii regional cuisine. Locavore flavors with Asian-French fusion are stunning to the palate. Service is absolutely stellar. So sad I have to fly from Maui to dine here.

Astounding tasting menu. (Two to choose from.) Delicious, creative cocktails. A great sake menu. Wine list is diverse. The food was out of this world. Subtle dishes. Explosions of flavours. The perfect sized portions. And they were respectful of GF requests. The service was friendly and professional. They did a LOVELY birthday treat for my guest at the end. One... More

We had our Wedding Anniversary here and couldn't have picked a better place. It's a bit pricey, but for a celebration dinner well worth it. Excellent service, we tried the 5 plate degustation dinner with matching wines and every meal was a taste sensation. Simple decor but what a night we enjoyed and will remember for a long time.

From a friendly valet, personalized welcome back menu, exceptional wine options, excellent server and exceptional food it was another magical evening. We were there to celebrate an anniversary and the evening was perfect. We enjoyed the Chopped Ahi Sashimi & Avocado Salsa Stack and Cheese platter, Black Pepper Lobster and a new option, Duck and Keahole Lobster. Dessert was a... More
