Believe the hype. Our waitress Jennifer was courteous, efficient and helpful. She suggested a small portion braised rib dish for my daughter that was perfect. My older daughter had a venison dish that she loved. My wife and I enjoyed the tasting menu. The presentation...More

This is a restaurant to go to for innovative cuisine, marrying the best of the West and the East into a venerable joy ride for your taste buds. I found the foie gras appetizer portion woefully lacking, almost needing a microscope to find it, otherwise...More

A must visit in Honolulu, book as its well known to avoid disappointment. Staff help with the menu and the wine is reasonably priced. We recommend the signature dishes, 'Da bag' for starters or the short rib beef roll. The snapper dishes were very good,...More

After reading all the outstanding reviews, our experience at Alan Wong's was a big disappointment. One star for the service, one star for the wine, but the food was overwrought and the signature main course of red snapper had terrible texture. We were dining with...More

Seems to be well known and highly rated restaurant, a lot of awards, even the Uber driver on the way was complimentary (I wonder if he has actually been). Funny thing on their website is that their "awards" take precedence over the menu. Should have...More

It really depends on how much they are going to drink in alcoholic beverages. There best offering is the $85.00 tasting menu. About the least expensive bottle of wine is a $40.00 bottle of prosecco and it goes up from... More

Yes, this is quite an upmarket restaurant and smart dress would be appropriate. Ladies would probably take a light cardigan or pashmina as it might be slightly coolish.
