Friend insisted I try the Poi Pancakes but turns out it's only served at their sister restaurant in Kalihi on Dillingham Blvd. Served with Lilikoi Butter. Mind Shattering.

This restaurant has been around forever. So have some of the waitresses. It is difficult to account for its popularity. The pancakes, omelettes and waffles are OK but nothing special. Yet there is quite a wait on weekends. It must be the kind of a charm of old Hawaii before all the glitz.

We got there early (7:30am) just in time before the line started out the door. It’s in an office building, by the way, so don’t pass it by. Decided upon this place after reading about the Apple Pancake and Dutch Baby and just had to go to experience it and I’m glad I did. My husband had an omelet which... More

Their pancakes, banana, was delicious. Wish they serve freshly made hashbrowns instead of those processed refrigerated ones. Service was prompt and the servers were very friendly.

I visited this location twice while on vacation in July 2016. I had the Sweet Bread French Toast both times, delicious! The prices are reasonable, $20-$25 for two people which includes the tip. I didn't give them a five because something was floating in the syrup the first time. Also, the restroom located in the hall of this office building... More

Around Ala Moana on Kapiolani is the Original Pancake House. My children loved the whipped cream topped hot chocolate, and the pancakes filled our belly. Keep in mind the Dutch boy or apple pancakes take longer 30-45 minutes. If you have the time, looks onolicious!
