Fish fry night (Alaskan cod) was simply perfect. They also have great cheese plates and a solid selection of wine and beer.

It is a bit of a surprise to have a place with a cheese closet in the small town of Walla Walla. We have had such good fortune for many years. It is such a treat to enter the closet, have cut to order my favorite cheeses and get a chance to be exposed to new selections from time to... More

Went here for picnic supplies: 3 different salamis, 3 different cheeses, bread and olives. It was all wonderful! Highly recommend this deli.

Charming owner/chef/host in a comfortable friendly atmosphere - but most of all the food is wonderful. Everything is made in house and from locally sourced ingredients. We went after the usual lunch rush but the place should have been buzzing with people given the high quality of the food and service. I had the best Cuban sandwich ever and hubby... More

We stopped in for a late morning snack and glass of wine. Nothing to write home about but nothing wrong either. We had a small cheese and cold cut plate it was ok. Seems in this town you either stand out or you just ok. This town has a lot of GREAT food options and i would guess if your... More

The title says it all. And the hummus was the least flavorful I remember. The supermarket stuff is far better.

We went in on a quiet afternoon after 3pm. We were the only people in the place, and there were 2 wait staff and someone in the kitchen. We ordered soup and a sandwich. After 20 min, no food. We asked "please at least get our soup". Still nothing. We walked out; life is too short!

This place is not to be missed. We just stopped in to grab a quick bite. It was awesome. Not sure about their wine list but the meat and cheese far made up for it.

We visit the cheese closet on a regular basis. Truly a wonderful and fresh selection of imports and domestics. Great grocery for a number of high end and quality needs or wants. The burger is as good as it gets. No excess, just a clean, juicy, beautifully ground patty that features the burger and the bun. Personally I go with... More
