We are the lobster and it tasted fine but the portions are not too big, especially considering the 300 cordoba per meal! Also do not come too hungry. We waited for an hour.

Great little spot on the north side of Big Corn island $10 dollar lobster tail and $1 dollar beers. Had a delicious lunch... glad we made time to go to this spot. 👌
We ate dinner here on our final night on Big Corn Island. We truly did save the best for last! This place is as good as you have heard. Seated on the patio of the family home, we enjoyed cold beers, a breadfruit appetizer, and...More
Just a lovely place to relax for lunch after a morning on the beach. Friendly, relaxed and most importantly, very tasty seafood. This end of the island is where you want to be to both eat and sleep. Just gorgeous and Maris is a soulful...More

The food at Maris was really outstanding. The best we had on the island. However, once we paid the bill we got back the wrong change. To be fair, we didn’t say anything to the hostess since it felt strange to squabble over a couple...More
There’s a lot of Lobster on Big and Little Corn but it’s not prepared properly most of the time (according to my partner). It was clear owner goes to market and picks out better seafood and knows how to prepare it. She also prepared pasta...More
I was only on Big Corn for one night, staying down the road at Miss Lulu’s place down the road (which was great). Everyone that I consulted (Lonely Planet, Miss Lulu, taxi drivers and other travelers) All said to eat at Comedor Maris ‘cause it...More
The food here is good. It was mostly locals when we were there. Wonderful, simply done lobster tails. The plate of food in the photo is $10, beers $1. A true bargain.
