We spent 5 days at the Paraiso Hotel and enjoyed several meals here. Service is good (sometimes overly attentive) and everything we ordered we enjoyed.

Excellent breakfast options in addition to the complementary continental breakfast. For those traveling for a while and in search of a good omelette or just plain eggs, this place is refreshing. The bread which comes with most of the 4.50 USD breakfasts is made locally, and delicious. As the day transitions, the 4 - 5 USD cocktails are worth checking... More

The food wasn't bad here, but everything was overpriced compared to the rest of the island. It seems that the owners are more interested in profits than customer service.

The Buccaneer is located on the Paraiso Beach Hotel premises and serves up great seafood and some curry dishes that were delicious. They also have a large selection of cocktails to choose from as well as beer and wine. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner...

Unusual food choice for the island, so one can enjoy different fare from the normal stuff available everywhere else. Good selection of "healthy" smoothies and blender drinks.

Hi Sheilds, Thank you, and yes, we do try to offer something different than the "standard" food the island offers. Although we always have fresh lobster, shrimp and fish of course, we also have Thai Curries, Steaks and of course our homemade Ciabattas. Hope to see you back some day! Mike More

I recommend all things with flour as they make them in house. For example the bread, pasta, pizza all made from scratch from the dutch owners who know a thing or two about bread

We ate breakfast twice as it was next door to the hotel we stayed at the Bellavista. Very good pancakes and juices. This was our first trip to Big Corn and one of the things I enjoyed most are the 3 horses who wander and graze all over the Island unmolested!

It was amazing and I'd like to have it every day of my life. Even the cole slaw was good and I'm not a cole slaw eater. The grounds are lovely so it was a serene and excellent lunch.

We were staying at the hotel on site and were already eating breakfast and some lunches here, so were going elsewhere at night. On the last night, we opted to stay in. I ordered the Fish Curry, it was *amazing*, and I slightly regretted not having dinner here other nights to try other options. I appreciate the thought the owner... More

What a great meal. Tender fresh lobster, potato, salad, and vegetables for $17! Hard to beat. And the restaurant has a nice ambiance. The owner eats there most nights and loves to talk to his guests.
