Buffet style restaurant. We had breakfast there and it was delicious. The chorizo was perfect. We also had eggs, cheese, coffee and Hojaldres (fried bread)). As I said it was very delicious and very reasonably priced as opposed to most of the expat restaurants in Boquete. The restaurant was full of locals which is a sure indicator of good food.

If you want to taste a piece of Panamanian food this is a perfect place. It's low price food and self service attention. You will have more than 6 kinds of protein to select (pork meat poultry). It's not the most glamorous place but I am sure you will be back here in the future

We loved Sabroson! It was always packed with locals when we were there both times. The food is incredibly delicious. Meals are affordable. You order cafeteria style. I found it to be a good interaction for practicing Spanish. Though the line was long it moved very fast.

While staying in Boquete we ate there several times. It's a locals' favourite with a bit of a cafeteria style, but the food is delicious, you have plenty of choice and the typical Panamanian "comidas" are inexpensive.

On Ave Central (the main street) opposite the gelato store is El Sabroson. Don't confuse it with the other 'El Soberson's' in town (like the one opposite the main plaza) - I believe this is the original (and the cheapest). Don't expect anything fancy, just good, honest, hot food for a cheap price. Most plates are an A-B-C combo; (A)... More

This was my favorite restaurant of this trip to Panama. We like to frequent places the locals go and eat the local flavors, and this is one of those places. There was a bit of a line, but it moved pretty quickly. We arrived near the end of lunch so they were out of some items, but there was a... More

This is one of the most popular places that locals go to eat in the middle of town. It's a mix of local and international food. The portions are big, but the food is only ok. For the price, I'd go even just to try a few bites.

We've been looking for some Panamanian food. Boquete has many restaurants and many range in style. If you are looking for some Panamanian food, this is it. The food is buffet style and it's priced per item. So it's fairly inexpensive and the food is good. Really good flavor. Try the chicken lasagna. It's got a creole flavor to it.... More

This downtown Boquete restaurant is the real deal. Not there for tourist but there for the residents of the town. This does not mean that you won't find every sort of person dining there. You will... It is set up as a buffet style. Where you go through and select your combinations of choices. El Sabroson is open for Breakfast... More

Very good variety of typical Panamanian foods for GREAT prices. My family of 4 paid $9 for more than enough food and drinks for the kids. You simply walk through the line cafeteria style and point to what you want even if you don't know any Spanish. If you want to eat local food WITH the locals this is a... More
