We went to the restaurant with a high hope but it turned out to be a disapointment. 1) restaiurant opens at 19:30 rather then 19:00 (indicated in Google-maps). There is no bar to have a drink, & waiters send us off to the town. 2)...restaurant only has one wine as house wine option for both: white & red wines. and it is of poor quality which was surprising since we were in Italy, and this was the 1st restaurant after of week of travel with a poor house wine. We asked for an option of a small bouttle but waiters kept saying - only one house wine and to certain degree agreed that it is not of best quality.. 3) pasta what was seved was not well cooked and very plane taste, an other suprising disapointment comparitively to other experiences during the trip. The positive side - service was fast though, waiters forgot some things that they agreed to bring to us. Happens. Last but not least, we left a review on google.map about our disapointing experience and owner came back with several agresive and bulling comments, not accepting any feedback & blaiming us for our selections. Sad. Therefore, i do not rtecommend this restaurant neither from the quality of food perspective, nor wine selection, unless you would like to experience the agression of the owner aferwords.More

Traditional local restaurant in La Maddalena. Sardinian homemade style food, genuine and tasty. A bit out from the city center, it’s worthwhile to visit. Meat is very good. Recommended!

Good food, fair prices and very friendly waiters. Pasta costs around 15€ and the tiramisu 5€. I would recommend to book a table as it is very popular.

Successful restaurant, we recommand to make a reservation . We came once without a reservation and it was full. The manager was so nice that we decided to come the day after and it was the best decision ever ! Service was excellent, staff were...amazing and funny. We took salads and tagliatelle (trofie) da mudderi and caserecce (trofie) da fiddola and a tiramisu, it was DELICIOUS ! We recommand at 200%More

This tavern is just 5 mins away from the main centre of the island, which makes it a much better option if you are looking for a quiet, laid-back atmosphere, away from the crowd. They have a nice yard facing the street, which I suggest...to ask for when booking. The menu is essential with 3-4 options for starters, mains and desserts: everything comes from the local tradition. We picked a shared grilled platter with beef fillet, pork sausage and ribs and lamb chops served with potatoes. After that, still hungry, we tried the local specialty, the Caserecce di Fiddola, trofie with shredded beef sautés with white wine, dried tomatoes and salted ricotta. Finally, we had the Seada, Sardinian pastry with pecorino and honey. We were suggested to come here by a “Maddalenino DOC” (of controlled origin) to try the typical Maddalenina cuisine. Everything was good and overall a nice experience. Just the service was not super accurate when recommending on the portions, which in the end were also a bit small compared to what we expected.More

Nice place on side. Service very nice and speaks English. Pasta really good. At the begining bread, sausage and cheese plate. At the end limone/mirtu liquoir. Tip is up to you but it's worth it. Going to come back here.

This small restaurant is a couple of minutes from the city center but definitely worth the 10min of extra walking! Delicious food at very reasonable prices (rather low prices actually) and above all: extremely friendly staff who are always smiling! Great experience, I would recommend...it to everyone!More

Very nice people, with amazing meat and great desserts. The terrace is nice, and good prizes. It’s better to reserve.

Very good food, brother and sister serving and very nice people, always smiling although they have to wear the masks, but you could feel it and that makes 50% for a restaurant experience for us. Some courses are with advance booking, so we booked the...porcetto sardo for the next evening and returned there. Rarely we go in two restaurants in the same trip, this was worth it. Reserve a table as they are quite booked. First night: One Sardinian mix platter (cheese and meats), one mixed grill (very good as well), 1/2L house wine=48€More
