A very nice restaurant just. of the Main Street tucked away in a side street. Recommend to us by our hotel and we were not disappointed. The antipasti selection was very different from the norm with lots of interesting selections. The pasta and sauce were...robust and melt in the mouth and went down very well with the red wine. Staff were very attentive and friendly, a lovely restaurant.More

First, we did not reserve the porcetto in advance which was a mistake BUT luckily everything we ate was absolutely delicious and memorable. We had the pesto pistacchio pasta and the colurgiones (must try this local specialty!). We also had a grilled fish which was...fresh and perfectly cooked. For dessert we had the seadas which are another local delicacy and were delicious! Service was great, we had a very young waitress who was professional and attentive, and the owner/manager checked in on us several times. He even went into the kitchen to find out the name of a specific type of cheese we inquired about. We will be back!More

I went there ones for lunch and ones for dinner, in both the occasion the food was lovely and the service was very good. Potatoes gnocchi and mussels was special!

We had a whole cooked spider crab and it was incredible (we ordered one upfront). Very sweet juicy meat. They cooked it just with olive oil for us, although the local way is with spaghetti. However we prefer to empty the crab ourselves, like you...would with a lobster. If you have the time and patience it's a true feast!!!!! Very friendly staff, lots of locals, delicious food and great atmosphere. When in doubt, definately worth a visit!!More

Very cozy restaurant. Clean taste and very italian. In my taste, i think the food in La Maddalena is kind of poor in flavors. But i still see why people like this alot.

Our hotel recommended a number of restaurants to us but not this one, Don’t know why. it’s away from the crowded centre and still a very pleasant place to dine. After searching on TripAdvisor there wasn’t a place that got my attention as much as...this one. So we decided to give it a try. Very nice ambience. Staff are very friendly. We went with a starter of meats and cheese. Smoked ricotta was fantastic. I went with a second of pork and my partner with a saffron pasta. (We didn’t choose fish as we wanted to try something different) finished with a seadas dessert. Everything was up to standard and the price was honest. I would returnMore

Very nice dinner in May, not crowded and service was excellent. I had lamb ragu and swordfish - both very good- while my husband had culurgiones and tuna, also a good combination. We shared the Sardinian specialty dessert, saedas, which was the special treat of...the night. No complaints - everything was delicious, including the Sardinian red wine.More

An elegant restaurant with a hospitable owner and friendly staff. Both meat and fish (and vegetarian) on the menu. A pleasant evening and meal.

Although there are Sardinian typical dishes, you can also find more usual meals if you are sick of eating the same thing over and over again. It is a bit more expensive than average, but the personnel is professional as is the manager, we are...well seated in a nice and relaxed atmosphere with lounge music, and the food is excellent. We tasted the pasta, there was plenty so we didn't need to order something else. Maybe we could comment on the fact that the waitress poured us the end of the bottle of red wine, so the taste wasn't so good, maybe this is allowed in Italy but it isn't in France (we are French). Well doneMore
