we have been there today with four persons. There are nearly no vegetatsrian options and every meal was made in a very low quality. The pizza was not really warm, the pasta tasted like the cheapest stuff from the supermarket. oil and vinegar came in...little plasticbags. But most disgusting was the absolutly unfriendly service. Why do they have a restaurant,if they obviously hate guests? alltogether a very unpleasent experience.More

So we are sitting in this restaurant very dissatisfied.. Our started was squid, very rubbery and no flavour but with sweet and sour onions which were nice, about the only thing which was nice. Then came my veal with lemon, I should say boiled meat...with a horrid flavour.. I am washing it down with some wine.. Cannot believe they can sell us this unacceptable food.. Guess they don't care. Definitely will not be coming back. 😡More

Day trip out to the island of Magdalena- scorching hot, seemingly thousands of tourists searching for the charm of this island amongst the tourist tat A boy needs to eat even when it feels like you’re being held against the surface of the sun First...priority - somewhere shaded, second somewhere calm. So we find this little courtyard at the end of the quay - unassuming beat and tidy - lovely service and welcome Missus heads straight to the wine - half litre jug of house white €5 - I know I’m going to like this place! I go for the local ‘lemon’ beer - the most refreshing thing I’ve ever had! To eats - daughter went for calamari her fave by the sea snack. This wasn’t frozen shake out the bag stuff - fresh, lightly dusted and cooked and cooked to perfection. Missus - sea food gnocchi-it was like a scene from when Harry met Sally - I think she enjoyed it? For me a platter of local cheeses cured meats and olives - some bread and some more of that lovely lemon beer. It was simple but nice. We spent an un-rushed lunch - one other couple and a chap inside the place. Lovely rustic style, nice welcome from this little gem Acid test - would I go back, no doubt - would I recommend- yes Price €61 3 meals, wine, beer, soft drinks and 2 large mineral waters - for the tourist area that’s reasonableMore

Best pizza on island. We stayed two weeks and tried them all! Wood oven, light base, delicious! The fresh fish in wine was also delicious, as was the caponata. The house wines are also excellent!

Had really good meal here, I had mussels with ricotta and chips while my partner had a four cheese pizza. Wine was served by the jug which was really good. Only thing that spoilt the meal was a really loud party of English which really...took over the restaurant, we should of sat outside!More

Great homemade pasta and nice pizza - cost HALF what we paid elsewhere. Only had 2 red wine choices, but the €18 cannonau was great. Best to book in advance because everyone knows this is the bargain place in La Mad.

We went there for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon after we already tried the evening before but the restaurant was fully booked! We met nice, friendly and ambitious staff. The menu was available in English and German as well. Though the waiter did not...speak too much English and we do not speak Italian it was a good conversation about our order, what we were looking for, what we liked and not liked. We had pizze and pasta. The pizza is perhaps the best in town. The Tomato sauce for the Pasta was fresh and fruity. Actually the restaurant was recommended by our host, Luciana. For good reason. The house wine was a rich white wine with some "body" deserved well chilled. The Chef, Natale, is a very friendly and open person, we can really recommend to have lunch or dinner here.More

The pizza was good, the gnocchi plate too. The staff was pleasant. We enjoyed our dinner in this restaurant. :)

Nice restaurant with courtyard. I first ordered spaghetti with seafood, but I decided to change my order for the spaghetti with clams & bottarga. This wasn't a problem. My boyfriend ordered the pizza diavola. Both tasted good. Unfortunately, the old guy waiter wasn't the friendliest....In contrast, the girl waitress was very nice to us.More
