Originally I wanted to try the supposedly best restaurant in Wanaka tonight, but it was closed due to a private function. So, in the mist of eateries. The sign stating Best curry in a hurry came across my line of sight. Granted, I had to walk passed the little Sagun Cafe twice before deciding to venture inside. Yes, it does... More

Cozy, casual and secluded from the busy main street; Sagun treated us to authentic food, friendly people, and a relaxed atmosphere.

I've eaten a lot of Indian food and this place is great. They make proper Indian food at a reasonable price, they are friendly and do a quick service. When I'm in wanaka I always go here.

As we live in Lake Hawea this is our goto place for a delicious Indian 😎 The chefs are awesome and able to provide vegan dishes. Many are gluten free also. I have not had a yellow daal like this since I was in India! The saag aloo was awesome and both dishes were a great medium hotness. Big thank... More

This is a cheap Indian take-away. Food quality is basic at best and they "slop" the food into your take-away container. Better Indian restaurants in Wanaka which admittedly cost a fair bit more but are well woth the extra expense.

Had one the best chicken roll in New Zealand. Wrapped in a naan bread with heaps of stuffing. Really worth trying. Other food is just basic. Ambience is not so great.

Was on a tight budget and visited the cafe. Food was tasty, affordable and fufilling, esp the nuns. The people working there was really friendly and I personally love the vibes there. Great choice of music too. P.s we were the guys who took the leftover nun from the other table, caused it was just soo tasty.
