We loved the concept and the meat was amazing! The homemade deserts were huge and really good. The staff was very friendly too. We'd love to go back!

Can't recommend this place highly enough. Amazing locally sourced food with a solid ethic and philosophy behind the kitchen. Chef is talented in letting the produce stand for itself in the meal. We ordered from the mains menu rather than the stone grill. The cod, venison, lamb, and pork are all recommended, as is the mac and cheese.
Mum & I both had the pork belly entree and shared the roast vegetable & a spinach, blue cheese & candied walnuts (amazing flavour ) sides. We both loved these dishes. We didn't need a main and were able to fit dessert in - Creme brulee - yummy.Service was brillant too. Would recommend booking as was very busy.

Had a fantastic meal at WGK - can recommend the lamb. Big enough for 2 people to share and absolutely delicious. You need to book a table as they are very busy. Also shared the cheesecake which was awesome too!!!
We ate here on two consecutive nights . The food was superb , the staff ( Chef included ) very friendly and genuine and the atmosphere great . Both I and my wife were delighted with it and I can heartily recommend the venison - done to perfection . I only wish this place was not on the other side... More
