Almost all the restaurants have the same menu but, based on TA reviews, we picked this one; and it was good. A very nice atmosphere and helpful staff, with very good food. A good pick.

Came for dinner, and wasn't disappointed. We were welcomed with a big smill, that's a good start. After taking the order we received some small starters (excellent lentil garlic soup, meat balls) which is not in the menu. The starter we order were unforgettable. The savicha, the grilled artichoke were excellent. The main dishs also all were very tasty. The... More

Making reservations in English was extremely easy and upon arrival, a warm greeting by the staff. We were fortunate to have one of the balcony tables which is delightful to overlook the square. The dishes were plentiful and the Iberian ham with carmelized onions was the best we've had in Spain. Throughout the afternoon, the wait staff and manager were... More

Contrary to the historical and quaint appearance, the food is modern and sophisticated and delicious. The service is attentive and warm. We were amazed at the great value and would most definitely recommend.

This restaurant was included in our private tour through rural Madrid. Right here we enjoyed an insuperable gourmet menu. Paired wines fit perfectly with each delicious course. Excellent service provided by the owners Myriam and Ruben. It was a memorable lunch and, at the end, we were pleasantly surprised with the best ‘carajillo’ we have ever had. When we return... More

Superb! They spoilt us rotten. I recommend 2-3 smaller dishes to share as starters and a few more to share as mains! The service & chef are amazing!!

barman spoke no english (from Bolivia) but was friendly and capable. Inside a warm wood burning stove helped the evening chill. The food was excellent as was the wine list and very reasonably priced (2004 Morate grand reserve fir 18 Euros) we ordered the 5 local cheeses as starter, and were given free a delicious veg. soup and fish paste... I had the menu del dia. The Wok vegetables, served in deep bowl were as a result much too oily. If they had been served on the plate, the oil could have been avoided. The dim sum de rabo del toro contained huge pieces of gristle and the pineapple dessert was served with bitter chocolate sauce that should have been... More

We were staying in the parador, 100 yards away, but had returned to Chinchon because of the beauty of the square in which the restaurant is situated. The hotel had recommended it. They were right! Food was interesting, well-cooked and extremely tasty. It being the end of October, (and we started at 8pm, before Spaniards were contemplating their pre-dinner drink!),... More

We found this restaurant did not live up to our expectations having read the reviews. On a cold Sunday evening in November we found we were the only diners in the pretty courtyard dining area though there were a few drinkers in the bar. I suspect the lunch menu might be what people enjoy. Eating from the a la carte... More
