This is a lovely proper pub. It serves good beer and good food. It's not pretentious or themed - just good. The menu is not fancy and it doesn't need to be , it's good value,honest home cooking. Portions are generous !
Used this as it was across from our Guest House and Boy are we pleased it was. Good selection of Meals, including small plates for the less hungry, and Desserts. Also a Very good Selection of Ales.
