This place has a couple of names on it, you'll know when you go upstairs to the open air dining area. Dona Rosita welcomes you and oversees the help and does the cooking. A great and varied menu of seafood. Each entree comes with rice and a salad, bread or tortillas (flour or corn, harina o maiz). We came by... More

We stopped here for dinner our first night on Holbox. Staff was nice and even got to meet Rosita who is a lovely person! Some of the best chicken fajitas I've had in a very long time. Affordable, made to order, and good portions made this a great visit to the island.

My wife and I had one order is Ceviche and it was more than enough for two. Great hot sauces. This was the best and the freshest ceviche we have ever eaten. I came to Holbox to fish and they offered to cook my catch for me. Awesome people.

We had two dishes at Dona Rosi. One was vegetarian fajitas, which were good, but nothing special. The other was pescado a la yucateca. Fish fillet, with tomatoes and other veggies wrapped in aluminum foil and grilled. This was outstanding. Large piece of fish, cooked to perfection and awesome taste. We would highly recommend this dish. The service was excellent.... More

I'm not sure about the name, there is a sign that says Dona Rosi, but the other reviews are of the same place. We'd been eating all seafood and I wanted something with carbs & saw the little sign for their espaueti ,(spaghetti), dishes. Great, the marinara caught us off guard it was loaded with seafood. You feel like your... More

The food there is really mexican as you can expect the locals to eat. But most of all it is really good and at reasonable price. The owners and staff are really nice too. It feels like eating true not like the many tourist traps you find on holbox. I had twice the langosta as it was so good and... More

We were there yesterday and the food was great. We actually bought a large fish at the beach from a local fisherman and were told to bring it here. The staff was friendly and they prepared the fish amazingly! We also had octopus with peppers which was truly spectacular. This is probably the best place for seafood with the 'right... More

The orange juice I got here was the best i've ever had, better than what I had in florida where the oranges are supposed to be the best in the world. Now all other orange juice just... doesn't taste the same. The fish we had was really good but came with peppers that were so hot my mouth burned for... More
