Our group of six from the UK all enjoyed their meal here. Nice place, interesting menu and good service. We would eat here again.

The menu is limited which we took as a good sign, and we we're not disappointed. Beautiful melt in the mouth kudu capriccio followed by succulent ostrich steaks in a divine sauce and we even managed a delicious baked cheesecake afterwards. Service was personal and attentive and prices were reasonable.

Although the manager was hovering about, and was quite friendly in coming over to say hi, the service was disappointingly inattentive, particularly given the fact there were only 4 occupied tables at the time. A pleasant garden setting if you don’t mind sitting on benches rather than chairs with backrests. Kudu carpaccio, lamb curry and bobotie were all quite edible... More

We had dinner here while staying in Montague. Service was good and manager very friendly and helpfull. Good menu with traditional South African food. Both the bobotie and venison pie were delicious. Ambience inside was a bit lacking but we were the only people inside on a warm night and might just have been a quiet Friday evening as well.... More

We've been visiting the Mystic Tin for dinner. As main courses we've chosen the impala and the chicken curry. Both were delicious! Friendly service. We can recommend it.

We went on a very quiet night. I tried the karoo lamb curry and my husband had the venison steak. Both were delicious. Service was good too.

Nice restaurant on the main street but with nice garden. My partner had a chicken curry and I had a lamb curry, both excellent. They also have 3 ales brewed on site. Great service and freshly cooked food. Well done.

Our lunch visit was great....friendly welcome cold beer and really nice food. Venison steak with couscous and ostrich bobotie were both outstanding and come highly recommended. The outside seating amongst trees with birds chirping was bliss and an opportunity to share lunch in a restful manner. Great place.

My wife and I heard good things about this place, and so decided to give it a try - we were not disappointed. We had the Jalapeños starter - fantastic, then I had the Oxtail and she had the Eland steak. We weren't sure if we'd like them, but both dishes turned out to be incredible. The staff was very...
