This is a hotel next door to the Golden Sands, at weekends they do a very good buffet with a live band, a mixture of western and asian food is the order of the day, never had a bad meal strongly recommend

The Friday night buffet was great and good value. Its worth a visit if you like that type of thing as in terms of food they mixed local Malaysian and Asian cuisine with some western food like roast lamb and roast beef. The deserts were fantastic! Its worth a visit if its the quiet type of venue and ambience you... More

We had breakfast here as part of our hotel package. There are the usual bacon and eggs, toast and waffles, as well as some local dishes like prata and nasi lemak. The char kway teow is delicious! This is on offer every morning, in addition to a daily changing noodle soup. Management needs to provide proper food covers for the... More

Ample choice but with the price tag some might not think so. Environment is nice with sometimes sea breezes blowing in your faces. Kids friendly as you can ask for child proof utensils.

We went to The Bungalow for international Buffet on Saturday night. Even though the theme is International Buffet, it still have a wide range of selection of seafood. The seafood choices are fresh oyster, Sashimi, fresh scallop, fresh king crab, prawns and there's a limited amount of slipper lobster. The Japanese food are nice chawanmushi (steam egg), garlic fried rice,... More

Food was great although the selection is not as broad compared to the Shangri-la. Service was spotty but otherwise well delivered.

We were staying at this hotel and ate lunch here on the first day, the food was so good and the service was excellent, so much so that we ate lunch here every day, it was also adjacent to the pool and beach which was even better, and served some wild alcoholic cocktails.

Please see write up on Lone Pine Hotel. The breakfast area needs a really good clean up and replacement of a tired and mildewed roof. The breakfast choice an hour before closing for breakfast is well depleted

We went over for dinner.. Leaving kids behind at Golden Sands. Unfortunately the staff were in a sullen mood. The Tuna nicoise salad wasn't well seasoned and the Club sandwiches were tiny with a mountain of fries. Any good restaurant should know service always starts with a smile. We couldn't wait to get back to Golden Sands where smiles were... More
