This Chinese restaurant is located nearby the road and works only in the evenings (from 5 to 10.30 pm), but it proposes one of the best seafood dishes. You definitely must try their nestum prawns and deep dried red snapper, as well as a variety of kang koon (vegetables). You'll be very suprised with a speed of cooking! They have... More

The golden river is another food court, full of different types of food typical of Penang. Grab your self a table, walk around and order your food, and enjoy

It is definitely a good place to go when you only need some cheap good food like any ordinary days. It's a normal Malaysia's road side Dai Chao without fancy environment. But the locals always know how good it is. We ordered 4 dishes with clams, prawns, vegetables and eggs for two person, end up with only RM55. Food were... More

Totally lives up to the review we received by some guests staying at the same hotel . The most delicious meal for 5 £20 can't beat the food children loved it and they made a delicious noodle soup at my daughters request clean plates all round generous portions . Please note it is not open Tuesdays but well worth a... More

When you see as many Chinese people eating in a restaurant it must be good. The food is really tasty but a tip is to order small as the portions are big. We ordered a medium tom yam soup each and it was enough for eight people! The tastes are to die for!

We often came here for dinner twice or more times a week, good chinese local food served everytime. Anyway, due to lacking of workers, it gets the waiting time prolonged at busy time. Advise to get there before 7.45pm to avoid the long wait

The portion of foods are of average for family of 4 persons. Price charged are quite reasonable for one dish of fish, taufu, pork ribs & vege at about USD10.

Went here to celebrate a birthday. Ordered 6 meals, which turned out to be sharing dishes. Bill for 6, bearing in mind the food ordered was for 15 people an including couple of large bottles of water: 26GBP!

A 'pop up' restaurant, again, like all the places we have tried in this area, the food is great, service is great. Their own curry dish is a must try if you like a kick, the hottest Chinese curry I've ever tasted, but doesn't leave a lasting burn in your mouth! They do S,M and L portions, the medium was... More

Going out for dinner and pass by this open spaced roadside Restaurant. Great food and service. Waiter can speak fluent Cantonese and voluntarily to reduce portion of each dishes so we could try more varieties. Strongly recommended.
