While the menu they have doesn´t have a lot of options, the meals they serve are very well cooked, presented and excellent taste, if you stay at that hotel, eat there at least once.

Incredible food for all meals- Great coffee, breakfast burritos, and gallo pinto for breakfast and the Tuna Tataki for dinner is out of this world. Highly recommend it!

I left my group of friends who went to a place where the music was too loud for me. I ate at Shambala alone after I stumbling on the sign on the way back to my hotel. I liked the verdant setting and the menu (pescaterian-friendly) so I stayed. The service is subtle, quiet, and prompt. The music was playing... More

Food was top notch and service was excellent. Nice atmosphere right on the beach. The drinks were great too, the dessert was ok.

Our family visited Shambala for dinner and it was amazing. The open concept makes for a very intimate and comfortable setting. The service was top notch. Now the food...it was simply the best! Chef Randy introduced us to flavors that we have never experienced before. Awesome experience overall. Very highly recommended!

Chef Randy Siles and the entire team at Shambala always outdo themselves, coming up with innovative, creative dishes that blend international-fusion cuisine with Costa Rican favorites. They use mostly organic and locally-sourced products that are the freshest, so you can't go wrong. Service is excellent and the meals are so delicious, they inspire you to come back again and again!

OMG the food, those flavors, the textures, the colors, the smell…everything. Have you ever eaten art before? Well here I got to do it and it was awesome. And you should ask about the chef, Randy is doing such a good work promoting costa rican cuisine and social work in general.

Randy, the Chef, show me the best Grilled Tuna ! It was delicious, professional and gourmet. Honestly, I do not have words to describe its special flavor. Highly recommended it.

We renewed our vows after 40 years of marriage so we took our first honeymoon at Tropico Latino. Shambala was a superb experience for our tastes of Costa Rica! The crew of Estevan, Arnoldo , Martin and Mayra were superbly outstanding! We will return and we are already letting our friends know about our experience at Tropico Latino. Best wishes... More

Shambala shines when is comes to seafood! We had scallops and I had a Tuna Salad. I could have just eaten a bowl full of the tuna and the scallops, they were that good! The prices are decent too. The service is outstanding! This place may be a bit hidden at night, but look for it! It is romantic, peaceful... More
