Visited this restaurant expecting to be a Indian but no if you come from the uk it is not a Indian restaurant where you get your usual curry. The tikka masala was like a bolognese sauce with some masala curry powder added the biryiani rice...was stodgy not cooked properly and dont expect your veg curry to go with it . The Naan bread also not the same very hard piece of bread . Overall very disappointed in what we were givenMore
Very slow service but the waiter was a lovely woman. Probably the worst food we had the whole two weeks in Rhodes. Ordered chicken madras and it was bland and tasteless. 5 small pieces of chicken in a main dish?? The Garlic naan we ordered...was more like a plain flat pizza base. Waited over an hour for the mains to be brought out also. Would not recommend.More
Unfortunately the night we turned up the grill wasn’t working so about half the menu was off. Nevertheless we persisted and the curries were fine. The dips were delicious. The portions of rice are very big however and one was probably enough for two people....It was the only time we ate in the new town so hard to compare it with others. Unusual mix of Indian and Iranian foodMore
Good food, but we wait our foods 1hour and 10minutes, even that in restaurant was only 4 table with us. Waiter was little bit rude. Chairs and table were the most horrible I have ever sat in restaurant.
Wow this is a amazing Indian and Iranian restaurant, the food is amazing and the staff are incredible, i love this place and will return next time i am in Rhodes.
Extensive menu had food from the Indian part of the menu will try the...Iranian menu next time, very generous portion sizes . good range of vegetarian dishes on offer.
This is the best Indian restaurant i have eaten at anywhere in the world.More
Safron is always on or list over prioritized restaurants when visitting Rhodos. Excellent food, good service and to meet George and his wife is always a pleassure. This time we had prawn Pakora and lamb curry. Both was very good.
The restaurant was quiet but that didn't deter the owners showing great enthusiasm and care whilst looking after us during our stay. We were talked through the menu and informed about the levels of spice to choose from between 0-5 and all tastes catered for....The food was fantastic and the flavour was amazing. Will definitely visited again if I'm in Rhodes. The Bajhis and coriander dip were oustanding.More
