I am a regular of La Fagurida every time I visit Tremezzo (Lake Como). They never disappoint! They actually exceed my expectations. This past visit I arrived late after closing time from a boat trip. The kitchen had just closed . No worries they opened and still served me my favorite dish.(thank you) The rabbit (coniglio) is amazing! With its mouth... More

We dined at this delightful trattoria located in an historic family-owned house high on a hill above Lake Como. The rustic, typical Lombard menu included a succulent rabbit dish, braised beef and local fish. We were privileged to be shown the old wine cellar and the room where meats are cured. The owner and his family were most gracious.

A super cosy restaurant with a great view over lake of Como. The food is simple, honest, and absolutely tasty.

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant a it had good reviews. However, we were very disappointed. The restaurant is high on a hill so the view during the day is probably beautiful. as we went for dinner, there was no view. The restaurant is in a house, very caustic and cosy. However the tables are very close... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner this evening. The rabbit and beef were both cooked to perfection. The polenta had such a lovely, hearty flavor - perhaps cooked on a charcoal grill. Service was attentive. We would return.

My husband and I went here for dinner having read some good reviews. The restaurant takes some finding as it is very high up a narrow winding road above Tremezzo. It is a very rustic style restaurant with a lot of wood. The menu is simple and small which would generally be fine, BUT 3 dishes contained asparagus of which we... More

What a fantastic place. Charming and peaceful location and lake views from the balcony. There may be locations for alfresco dining with more of the lake to see but the overall package of this restaurant is hard to beat. Very tasty traditional Italian dishes with no pizza or pasta in sight. Excellent value and friendly service. Highly recommended.

We visited as a family on the last night of our holiday and we were so impressed with the food and location! Great views and great skill from the kitchen. Braised beef, fresh griddled vegetables from the garden, beautiful polenta and a great tiramisu to finish. We shared the food as a family and even though our children missed pasta... More

We had dinner at La Fagurida the last day we were in Tremezzo. A regal! This is a family run restaurant that serves delicious local specialities. The terrace has a beautiful view on the lake of Como, but you need to book. We were given excellent advice with a smile. The waitress took the time to explain, to tell us... More
