We came here 3 years ago and wanted to try it again to see if anything had changed. With regards to the food and prices they are still at a fantastic level. There is no longer an outside eating area and the lady owner's son who spoke some English was not around but even with basic Italian we communicated just... More

The food here is great. We went for lunch mid week in late September. Vegetable fritters and ham for antipasto. Silky home made pasta with spicy tomato sauce. Very good steak with a simple salad of tasty tomatoes. Two different tarts for pudding (we took some home as we were so full). Carafe of wine, coffee and grappa. All this... More

No menu here!! Just course after course of homemade deliciousness!! The mom, Marisa, is the cook and her son, Mario, is the host and waiter. We had 5 courses--antipasto which included stuffed, batter-fried zucchini flowers and fig leaves, meats, pate on toast and polenta, risotto with mushrooms, homemade pasta with tomato sauce, pork chops, and ricotta cake for dessert. Each... More

This small, unusual restaurant is 5 - 10 minutes' walk from the centre of the village of Torgiano. It takes bookings but we just turned up around 8:00pm. There are about 8 tables and all were eventually filled. There is no menu, the food just arrives. We had five courses -- antipasto (very good mixture of hot and cold), ravioli... More

We tried this restaurant on the reviews it received on Trip Adviser. We were blown away. When we first arrived we were slightly worried by the rustic nature of the tables and chairs but every thing was extremely clean. The owners only speak Italian and you get what you are given. We had delightful and plentyful antipasti of courgette flowers... More

This restaurant was not too difficult to find (we walked there from Torgiano city centre) but it was not at all what we expected. It looks initially like someone has set up some tableware and a tarpaulin in their yard, which was all part of the family-run atmosphere. We didn't see hide or hair of a menu - instead the... More

Hard to find at first, needed to trust to navigation systems and growing hunger. And then, a lovely welcome, an absolutely wonderful meal, good wine and enormously convivial company. Five courses with water, wine and coffee for a mere twenty five euros each: superb value. Very well looked after by the family.
