Lovely food and a great variety. They don't have a bit selection of gluten free but they do cater, I had a delicious gluten free curry!

In the space of one week, my wife and I had fish in The Tannery, Merries, and The Shamrock. To our complete surprise, the fish (hake) in The Shamrock was, by a VERY long shot, the best of the three. And at €9.95, an absolute steal. This is a nice family-run bistro-style place that doesn't pretend to be what it... More

Visited as a family of 4. Very friendly staff. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. One of the nicest places we have eaten in Waterford. No room for dessert but got takeaway brownies for later. Well run and staff really made an effort to be helpful, friendly and efficient. Well done to a great team

Had lunch here with friends recently. I opted for the Monkfish Goujons which was served with salad and chips. This is where my gripe comes in. The presentation on the plate was extremely poor.....A little bit of imagination would have made this a good dish. Seriously! one leaf of lettuce and two cherry tomatoes cut in half adorned the plate... More

Used to like this place but sadly things change. Was in there for lunch and was told to move seat (not asked) just in case they got busy!!! All I wanted was to eat my lunch and read paper. Couldn't read paper because table I was rudely moved to was only big enough for plate and jug. Can't enjoy it... More

This is an excellent restaurant in the middle of Dungarvan town. It is very popular with the locals. Food is good and prices are not too bad. Menu is very varied.

I would recommend this place any time. Two things I would recommend. The irish stew and the pork chops. This could cost around 12 to 15e each. Lovely place. Closed on Sundays.

We were greeted by very pleasant and friendly staff. The portions were hearty and value for money. We will most definitely return. The fish one of us had was excellent. The mince pie was very taste. Both of the deserts were delicious.

Stopped here for a quick lunch food was ok. It may need a little bit more love. The mash potatoe was beutiful and the salad. But the mains of hake and quiche were not great. The staff were so lovely and helpful

Thank Brona S
